'We had a luxury hotel experience here, with excellent meals and great amenities. I have 2 remarks though. Firstly, the level of English of some of the reception staff was a bit lacking, which made it difficult to communicate with them. Secondly, when checking in, a R$400 charge was taken from my credit card as a safety. In itself that's understandable, but upon checking out, instead of deducting this from the amount that was due, I had to pay the full amount due on top of this, with the promise...

'Very good high quality hotel. Everything was in perfect working order. The staff are extremely professional and attentive. Very good amenities. The region around the hotel has a few homeless. It reminded me of the Tenderloin in San Francisco California but there are so many restaurants, bars, shopping centers, barber shops and laundries nearby it makes up for it. I would stay again for sure. '
