'A great property and the pool area is the best part of hanging out there. We used this as a stay after a concert at Wheatland Arena. Wanted to have late night wine by the pool- allThe lights didn’t come on, couldn’t figure out any switches. Wanted to light the “fire pits” but no gas, and no directions. We had to figure it all out by following gas lines to empty tanks. This could be super excellent with better ambiance by the pool for after dark. Great location for the venue- it is on a busy...

'I just stayed for one night- visiting family. The family was friendly and also gave me space. My favorite thing was the pond, with many koi fish. My area included a bedroom , bathroom with sauna, and a rec room with a giant tv, treadmill, ping pong table and fooz ball table. The bed was very comfortable and the night was peaceful. I would visit again.'

'My husband and I had a great stay at the Hoothaus. Great location with easy access to mountain biking and running trails. Close to the lake and to downtown Nevada City, yet still quiet and peaceful. The hosts were very communicative and helpful in suggesting local activities. Space was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed! Highly recommend staying here if you're in the area. '

'The cabin was clean and perfect for our family for the size of 7 we still had plenty of room. Nice and quiet location with a back yard view. You can also fish in the back from your porch but the only thing is at night is do not open the back patio door or mesquitos will get inside. '
