« In spite of some very lovely staff, this hotel is in an appalling state and desperately need of a facelift. Water damage on the walls, peeling paint, leaking toilets, a broken shower and windows that haven’t been cleaned in years. The owners need to spend a lot of money on this establishment that must have been spectacular in the past, as neither it or the staff deserve it being left in this state. »

« Beautiful hotel, lots of character and really friendly staff. We stayed in La Rosa room and enjoyed a delicious cocktail in the lounge before going out to explore Whitby. Thoroughly recommend! »

« The hotel was great I was there 2 nights for work 27&28 Jan. I loved the bedroom, very comfortable and view was amazing. The food was great, cod and chips. Best I’ve have in a while and really enjoyed the breakfast. Best of all was the staff, in particular the young man that checked me in on the evening of the 27th he was also there for dinner and breakfast. Couldn’t have been more attentive and polite. I’d love to go back for a a holiday next time. »

« the whole experience was excellent the room was lovely with a super view, the bed was comfortable, would thoroughly recommend a stay and would not hesitate to go back. we did have the room in the photo with balcony so probably the best room in the hotel »

« L'emplacement face à la mer est vraiment appréciable. On peut prendre son thé, préparé dans la chambre, sur un banc et admirer le paysage. On peut aller dans la vieille ville facilement à pied. »
