« Le store du velux laisse entrer la lumiere qui commence a 4h du matin en Angleterre en ete, mais nous etions deja reveilles car on entendait clairement les ronflements de la chambre d`a cote, et a ce propos, l'isolation phonique etait tellement mauvaise qu'on croyait avoir des fois les voisins dans notre chambre/S.d.B. En ouvrant le velux, toutes les odeurs de la ventilation de la cuisine entraient dans la chambre car c'etait juste en face. Le long cheveu qui n'etait pas le notre est reste...

« nous ne sommes restés qu’une nuit, mais le propriétaire et le personnel étaient très sympathiques et arrangeants. la nourriture était très bonne et le chef était d’un caractère très agréable, et nous avons adoré les chiens de la maison 🐕. »

« Food was very good. Large room. Clean and comfortable. Bathroom let it down as small dark and pokey. Very very steep stairs to reach room. Plenty of parking. Outside area for sitting which was pleasant. Not bad value for money though. »

« Hope Cove is a lovely place to stay. Food at the Hope and Anchor was five star. Staff were friendly. We did feel however that certain parts needed more attention. There was thick dust under the dresser in restaurant area. There is a paying car park next door which was £12 for 24 hours. »

« Narrow roads down country lanes so slightly isolated lovely cosy room and breakfast was excellent especially the poached eggs. Stayed there as going to a wedding in the area »

« Fantastic location overlooking the hilltop sea views. Last minute overnight booking, with only the rear looking room available (would like to try the sea view rooms next time). Room was immaculately clean with a fan, iron (and board), hairdryer, microwave, toaster, fridge and kettle (also tea, coffee and milk, that you can have refilled if you need more). Staff were absolutely fantastic from the time we checked in to when we left. Bar and food area downstairs (also plenty of outdoor seating). I...
