« This is a cozy property in a very rural setting. The host is extremely responsive and very thorough. It is quiet and private. The furniture and bed are very comfortable. The wood burning stove is a pellet stove which provides enough heat to take the edge off. The hot tub could comfortably fit 4 people. The Village of Cold Spring is less than 10 minutes away, as is the Interstate 84 bridge across the Hudson. If you want to make your own food, bring it. There is no grocery store nearby. »

« My family and I had a wonderful weekend at the property. It rained most of the time, but we made the best of it. It was all over too fast. It's a nice, relaxing property. »

« It was a beautiful setting with water fall. The home itself needs a little work. It is well used and needs some TLC. Photos look much better then actual home. »

« This house has an ideal location to see lots of local sites of interest in the Hyde Park and Poughkeepsie area. Easy trip from there to West Point, Hyde Park and the Culinary Institute from the location, and great restaurant, Tiramasu, is very close. The house is immaculate! The beds were very comfortable, linens were provided, the bathrooms were spacious and the five of us had plenty of room for our toiletries. The house has steps to its multiple levels for all essential rooms, not accessible....

« Overall, it seemed like the property manager was not ready for guests. The toilet instantly broke, the pool hadn’t been cleaned in probably weeks, and the apartment had stained sheets. It’s a nice place but really not worth the money. »

« Older manufactured home has been updated. We appreciated that each area had its own mini split unit for individual climate control. Area felt safe and quiet. Good hot water and water pressure. Kitchen was stocked for stovetop cooking but not much for baking, and no water glasses. (We just drank everything from the coffee cups.) Split bedroom layout was good for two couples. »

« We had a very pleasant stay! We came for our son’s graduation from West Point. Pat was a gracious host and made sure that we had up to date info. There were lots of thoughtful amenities, the beds and couches were very comfortable, we used the grill and sat on the deck which overlooks a wooded hill. The location is peaceful and in the country just down the street from a horse pasture. You can hear the brook bubbling across the way. The WiFi worked great and although there is just a window air...

« Sweet space, well-stocked and nice open living and kitchen area. We enjoyed watching birds eat from the bird feeders and a family of deer graze in the meadow and along the edge of the woods! The location was situated well for accessing nearby hiking and is not far from scenic Hudson landmarks. Excellent quiet place to relax and take things at your own pace. »

« OUTSTANDING location! The views are incredible! Great outdoor area for a bonfire and family time! Hot tub! Grill! Not to mention the rooms are perfection with attention to detail. There is even a family room with a baby bed and play pen which was perfect for my daughter and her little family. « We really enjoyed relaxing on the front porch after a busy day out. Beds were very comfortable. So nice to be able to sit around and visit, instead being in a hotel, sitting on beds. We did miss having a microwave to use. Very nice and affordable. »

« I rented this property for my co-workers who were here for a retreat at my home in the area, and at the local community center. This home had everything we needed, and the host was easy to communicate with. We will definitely consider using this property again for future guests coming for work and family gatherings. »
