  • Fully renovated modernized mid-century cottage in the city conveniently close to everything the city and surrounding areas have to offer. Dog friendly with a huge professionally maintained fenced in private backyard with large entertaining space. We are 2 Miles from Wake Forest University and Reynolda Gardens, and within a mile of dozens of restaurants of all cuisines and multiple grocery stores. A short drive to the mountains for hiking.

Perfect for our needs! Our dogs loved the large backyard and the house was clean and comfortable. Would absolutely stay again. You can certainly here noise from the road while outside, but it wasn't an issue when we were inside at night or anything. Some dog owners may want to know that the neighbors have dogs as well that may bark.

We are outdoors people. The backyard is huge! Our dogs loved romping out back, and we enjoyed the patio lights and fire pit.

Very nice house and location

We enjoyed our stay there. It was clean, had everything we needed and was in a great location for us. Will stay there again when I come back in that area!

Great location!

This was my first VRBO experience. The house was roomy and well styled. I felt very safe during my stay. The backyard was a lovely extension of the house. I highly recommend this property!

Family friendly

This place was perfect for our family trip to Winston Salem. The house was in a great location close to Wake Forest University, shopping, restaurants, and Truist stadium (baseball). The hosts were very helpful and timely with responses to any of our questions. Would highly recommend this cottage for your stay in Winston Salem!

Had a very nice stay. Quiet and comfortable house, well maintained and appointed. Close to WFU, grocery, etc. If staying w more than two folks be aware you’re sharing a full bath. Would stay again if we weren’t moving back to the area. :-)

Perfect spot in Winston-Salem

We stayed here while visiting family in the area. We chose it because it was pet friendly and the large fenced back yard was ideal for our dog. I was really impressed with the thoughtfulness of our hosts. They provided so many conveniences not typical of most VRBO’s. The pictures accurately reflect the state of this home. It is very well maintained and it was a pleasure to stay here. We will definitely stay here again.

Dropping son at college

We were dropping our oldest son at Wake Forest University for his freshman year. The property was was perfect both for location and amenities. It served as the ideal launching point in the move in process as we are from California. It was clean, well kept and very comfortable. Could not have asked for a better accommodations.

The property is in a convenient location. Close to the university, restaurants, grocery stores and downtown. It is on a main road but it was not hard to get in and out of the property. Traffic could not be heard at all when inside. Very easy check-in and check-out process. Cute house and furnishings decent. We did not have time to use the backyard patio but it looked inviting. One drawback in terms of cleanliness is improvement is needed regarding dusting the furniture/clearing cobwebs from ceilings. Also have cleaners pay attention to cleaning the shower drain better; a pink film was noted which can be due to a bacterium that thrives in moist environments (sure most people have seen this in their own home). Finally, please supply more than 2 rolls of toilet paper or advise that this is the quantity that will be provided. Sorry did not have time to communicate these issues with the owners as we were going non-stop for our short time there. Otherwise, we had a nice stay; the beds were comfortable enough and there were sufficient towels for everyone. Liked that there was an automatic spotlight which was great when arriving back to the home very late at night.

Cute and Comfy Cottage with Great Yard

Cottage was beautiful and exactly what we were looking for. The yard was enormous with ample seating to enjoy the great fall weather. We saw a white tail deer at the back of the yard, off property. Location was great. Close to most places that we needed to go. However, as much of WS, quiet streets are becoming more rare. If back to WS, we would stay again. Daughter graduates this year!

Don’t stay here. The house is right on a main road, and it feels like you are literally on the street. There are triple yellow lines and heavy traffic, so the noise is constant. On top of that, the AC makes a loud pounding noise every time it turns on and off, with vibration strong enough to wake you up in the middle of the night.The backyard looks much better in the pictures than it does in person. Between the chain-link fence, visible neighbors, and dirty patio, it was not a space we felt comfortable enjoying. The house was also not properly cleaned — there was dust, outdated furniture, and even clothing left in a drawer, which showed a lack of care and attention to detail.The bathroom felt unsafe because there was nothing to hold onto when getting out of the shower, and it was slippery. The property is listed as upscale, but it is absolutely not. Even the gravel driveway is difficult to access because of the heavy traffic on the road. Very disappointing stay.
