What a wonderful B&B! By far one of the best we've stayed at! Our room was beautiful, cozy, clean, and the bed was so comfortable. They left an amazing bottle of local wine, and fresh flowers in our room đ Our hosts were outstanding! So helpful, and sweet. Breakfast was incredible. Our favorite was the wild rice quiche! Beautiful home, gorgeous property. So many cozy places in the garden to sit. We loved the 4 season porch. 10 out of 10!
Jan was very friendly and pleasant to speak with. Breakfasts were exceptionally tasteful and well presented. Other guests were very friendly and pleasant Highly recommend a stay here!
Door lock for room was very unreliable
Door lock on building entrance didn't work at all
Instructions for controlling heat in the room were not clearly placed near the gas fireplace
No in person acknowledgement or instruction about room was provided
Our host was fantastic! Everything was clean and tidy upon arrival. Her daughter Grace made the most delicious breakfasts. A egg, spinich and cheese filled croissant with bacon for Saturday morning and french toast cubes with caramel and sausage for Sunday. OUTSTANDING!
Winona is a very nice city with lots to do, nice parks with walkng trails, beutiful area with the bluffs and water options - both river and lakes. The B&B is quant and very adequate with a great breakfast and friendly staff.
We spent 2 nights here and it was wonderful! We stayed for our daughterâs college graduation from WSU, and the house is directly across the street from campus so it was very convenient! The room was very clean and comfortable and the bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in! Extremely comfortable sheets and bedding as well. Breakfast was delicious both mornings! The owners were very friendly and the main house is very quaint! We definitely plan to stay again! Winona is a wonderful town!
Convenient to WSU. Quiet despite being in and among student housing. Jan and Grace are friendly and excellent hosts. Breakfast was outstanding and we enjoyed the social interaction with other guests. The room was just large enough for our 2- night stay with the use of the 4 season porch. We walked to dinner both evenings, 15 min each way along mostly residential blocks until arriving "downtown". The bed was comfortable although we don't like the slippery microfiber sheets, that is a preference, others may like them.
Quaint and 15 minutes to walk to downtown shops and dining. Good side walks all the way to downtown.
Gourmet breakfast served right at 9:00 a.m. so don't be late.
Plenty of spaces with flowers and seating to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee from the Keurig you make in foyer.
Green door is the entrance for lodging behind the main house. And, in the morning you dine in the main house.
