The Host was Excellent to respond to all messages and I sent several before reserving and after.Positives:- The home is lovely and meets the description on Vrbo. Neighborhood nice and quiet. A 10-15 minute walk takes you downtown and the waterway.- home is well equipped with kitchen utensils, pots, toaster, oven, microwave, two coffee maker, and electric kettle. Plenty of dishes, cups, glasses.- washer/dryer behind closed doors with easy access.- nice bathrooms.What can improve:First appearance is clean, but as you unpack and prepare for bed, the true lack of great cleaning becomes apparent: crumbs, dust, etc. probably true for all rentals? But causes caution and wonder.It was small things that add up to me not giving a 10. -Parking: is in Grassy area a house away, owners of closest house have posted No Parking signs along their fence, making you skeptical to park reaching out to host.- can’t park in front of house, really is an alley, entry at back is closer to parking, but path to back door is cluttered.- The back deck beautiful but filthy, part of the cleaning should include sweeping deck and wiping the table and chairs.- no curtains or blinds in kitchen at window or back door, allowing lights from neighbors to disturb sleep on sofa sleeper - TVs and lamps not plugged in.- provide instructions for thermostat!- needs more bed linen and covers
