'Huge room and breakfast was amazing, truely four star. Walking distance to the Barbican area. Our only issue was we were on the top floor and there was no lift. 50 steps from the back car park. I am sure they would put a lift in if the building was not heritage listed. If you have mobility problems make sure to ask for a room close to the ground. Overall very impressive and good value for money all fittings and fixtures were high quality.'

'The Crown is one of our favourite places to stay. We would never visit England without making a stop for a few days at The Crown in Chiddingfold! The staff are wonderful and welcoming! The rooms are comfortable and historic!'

'Great location. Inflexible menu on the day so had to eat elsewhere no accommodation La were made for us. Clean room But many hairs in the bedding inbetween mattress protector or bottom sheet. Attention to detail would be worthwhile and signs on other guests doors to ask them to be mind full not letting doors slam in the morning would be helpful.'

'Mijn enige minpunt is dat de lift het niet deed en diegene die ins incheckte wilde niet eens de moeite nemen om te kijken of we een verdieping lager konden verblijven. We hadden de tweede verdieping en ik ben slecht ter been wat ik had vermeld. Beetje veel jammer. Bij de check out was een lieve blonde dame'
