'We didn't receive entrance instructions until after we were already there waiting. There was also no general instructions for the apartment, we had to dig around to find the Wifi password. It would be helpful to have instructions for the appliances as well... I spent time on the internet looking up the washer to figure out how to work it. It was spacious and comfortable, but given the hot temperatures it would be great to have a fan in the apartment. '

This was our base to explore the Loire Valley and its Chateaux. Do not miss the delights of "Les Banquettes Rouges" nearby in Blois for their set price meals...lovely inventive food served with a smile. 'Loved the town of Amboise and how convenient Jacky’s apartment was to everything. Two couples shared the well equipped place with plenty of room to stretch out. Appreciated having comfy beds and bathrooms with enough towels. A few stairs to get to up to the apartment but results in a good view of the river. Being at the hub to the bridge is convenient. Luckily traffic noise wasn’t a concern. Our friends in the front bedroom would have liked opaque or blackout shades to block morning light but...

'Die Wohnung lässt von der Ausstattung her nichts zu wünschen übrig. , ist allerdings sehr hellhörig. Restaurant im Erdgeschoss mit Abluftschlauch, sehr laut. Aus der oberhalb liegenden Wohnung hört man jeden Schritt. Das Treppenhaus eng, steil und unzureichend beleuchtet. Nicht unbedingt für ältere und geheingeschraenkte Menschen. Fußläufig zum Zentrum gelegen'
