« Situated in a convenient location on the main road between Windermere and Bowness, our stay was amazing. Rich and Ada were brilliant hosts, welcoming and was very helpful. Breakfast was one of the best we've had in the UK and comes with so many different options. We had booked a cost double room but didn't feel that small to be fair. They were cleaned daily and the bed was so comfortable. There is no doubt that if we come back to the Lake District, this would be where we would stay again. »

« Our stay at Ivy House was very nice. However I will not be using Expedia again. Expedia clearly stated that we would pay at the property, then shortly after booking asked us to pay 50% deposit, which after checking with the property was not required. Then 24 hours before arrival Expedia took the full amount from our account. I will not deal with companies that behave in this manner. If you agree do not deal with Expedia. »

L'insonorisation est POURRIE (style feuille de carton) et les deux nuits nous sommes en plus tombĂ© sur des fĂȘtards qui profitent du fait qu'il n'y a pas d'employĂ© la nuit pour se promener partout dans le lobby et corridor en faisant claquer les portes. Le matelas serait dĂ» pour ĂȘtre changĂ©, on ressentait tous les ressorts.. Bref, le seul point positif est le magnifique paysage entourant le lodge et le trĂšs bon petit-dĂ©jeuner (par contre on doit payer, non inclus). »
