Kastelen in Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational Area

'We enjoyed our stay at the Kenoza Lake View Manor. It is a lovely old house and yet very quiet (didn't hear squeaky floors). It was a little bit of a challenge climbing the staircase up to the third floor, but when we got there our room was cozy. The bed was quite comfortable. The continental breakfast was nothing to write home about, but it gave us the fuel we needed before we headed off for more adventures. 'The location is great, the property is beautiful, the breakfast was ah-mazing, and Delanie is super cool! We opted for a suite in the barn which was super spacious and far nicer than the big expensive hotel we stayed at the night before in Philadelphia. It's very close to Bethel Woods and this area has a lot of fun country roads that I could spend all day on. Though we stayed for a concert, I will be back to check out the surrounding area!'

'The property is located approximately 10 miles from Bethel Woods which made it very convenient to stay there while seeing a show at Bethel. Stayed in an ADA room with a roll-in shower which met my needs. My only complaint was that once the A/C got to the desired temperature there was no air circulating during the night and no fan. This made it very difficult to get a good night’s sleep.'

'This property was surface clean. It had an odor of mustiness and when I pulled back the blankets I found stains on the mattress pad and even the mattress. I didn’t sleep well and I definitely didn’t bother with the complimentary breakfast. It was a nasty hotel.'

'Terrible place to stay, hallways dirty, boxes and other rubish was scattered troughout the hotel. Firealarm was beeping loud in the room, and was hanging from the wall. The room smelled horrible. Went down to check-in and got another room. Smelled a little better but stuff was dirty, dust everywhere. Only superficial cleaning done. This was the only somewhat affordable hotel around but you better drive those extra 25 miles! Never again. '

'If you are a solo traveler or a couple and need a comfortable, clean, quiet and amenity filled bed and breakfast that treats you like you are at home then this is the place. Also conveniently located to many activities. Will absolutely return. Zero complaints excellent property and excellent hospitality and delicious homemade breakfasts.'

'This place is the best! Our only regret is we didn't have more time there to enjoy the property! Cabin was super clean and welcoming, and ours even included a massage chair which was a really nice perk since I was in town for race. Everything you could need was at the cabin, if you forgot something, the host probably had it there waiting for you. It was a really cool place with a unique setup and there was plenty of parking.
