'Stayed here many times before then they got ridiculous with room costs. Was happy when I noticed they became reasonable so took advantage of it. Many don’t travel to Duluth because it’s become too expensive and often drive to Minneapolis instead.'

'Historic mansion with top notch rooms. Off street parking for guests in the rear of the home. Lovely, quiet surroundings. Light breakfast and coffee were very good and we enjoyed the treats in the cheery living room while soft cello music played in the background sound system. We stayed in the Hewitt suite and the king bed was very comfortable. Convenient to Duluth attractions. Would definitely recommend.'

'The access code for the outside door was not clearly stated in the material sent (unclear if the access code was supposed to open both outer door or room door) We had to access customer support and they were VERY kind and extremely patient. Make sure you leave time in the am for the little breakfast with pastries and coffee. Other guests were quiet and almost reverent of the beautiful space. The decor was charming!'

'We have stayed at several Days Inn Hotels on our trip... The gentleman at the front desk lacked professionalism as the front desk person is an ambassador of the establishment..personally, if you're unhappy with your management or corporate heads, I believe you should deal with them, not your customers...however, he was helpful with the sign on for wifi Unfortunately, this location is in need of some tlc...the ice machine wasn't working and it appeared it hadn't for sometime...bathroom door...

'Nice huge Studio room, kitchenette and bathroom. In room entertainment laughable for 2020s. Inain cable channels with 90% commercials was it. TV Wifi so poor it wouldn’t even play YouTube at lowest quality settings!? If you want to watch anything take a laptop and HDMI cable… Clearly a known issue, as staff member knew before we finished explaining.'

'This is a beautiful property located right on Lake Superior. They offer several on-site activities and common areas for relaxing or visiting. It is clean and well-kept with friendly staff. '

'Recycling option in addition to the trash bin would be nice. Also, There was only one regular coffee pod and two decaf. There should always be at least two regular. Everything else was great!'

'Historic Hotel with Unique suites and a great vibe. Not your traditional hotel but exactly what we were hoping for. The ambiance was perfect both in the hotel and in the Rathskellar Speak Easy in the basement. '

'It was a nice overnight stay. Close to restaurants and bars to walk too. The history of the building was neat to see while eating breakfast downstairs. The staff was really helpful and courteous. I would recommend this place to stay at.'
