'PROS: We had an amazing 4-days stay at Elysium. This Boutique Hotel is a true gem worth every 5-stars, nested a short-tuk-tuk ride from Unawatuna or Galle. The hotel is on a quiet beautiful beach. There are rocks, so you cannot swim directly in from the hotel, but you have a small and beautiful cove 100m on the right. And you can enjoy the view of fishermen on their stilts from the hotel terrace at sunrise and sunset! Spot is perfect for both. The rooms are very large and comfortable, decorated...

'Let me start we arrived at the hotel staff was super friendly right from the beginning. As we we’re walking to see our room we went towards the water to find out no beach since we are beach people my wife started to lose it I said let’s see the room first as she is telling Me I am not staying here . We go up to the room it was beautiful and comfortable! Well she opens cabinets where tv is supposed to be no tv boy she wanted to murder me . I said let’s spend the night and we will talk about it ....

'Service: 5/5 - Fantastic. Right from the start Prasanna was hugely welcoming and couldn’t do enough to help. He didn’t try to sell any additional services or tours etc. but was available anytime we needed assistance - even arranging Tuk Tuk journeys when we were elsewhere to come and pick us up and not be scammed by some others that were waiting to take advantage. 'At the end of our Sri Lanka holiday we decided to spend a bit more on our Unawatuna hotel & were not disappointed. We had large rooms with loads of space, kitchen, really comfy beds, excellent views from our balconies. The staff were helpful & the pool lovely. We did book nicer rooms that some there & didn't eat so can't comment on the food. It's a bit of a walk or a short Tuk Tuk ride to the main tourist area or a beach but that also means it's quiet there.'
