'Beautiful property in an excellent location. Three somewhat misleading issues: 1) House, as seen in booklet and instagram but not VRBO, is actually a number of units. This was not a big deal other than if one assumed there was more outdoor seating area than there is (see next point). One might have guessed this but VRBO description does not imply. 2) Living area/kitchen has no fans or A/C. It is reliant on breezes, which sounds good but in reality , at least in July is NOT adequate at all....

'We had an amazing stay at Casa Del Mar. The property is beautiful and the people are even more so. Ady was very helpful and quick to respond when we had questions. Manuel was wonderful, he made us feel at home our entire stay. The home looks just like the photos. Sunset in the rooftop pool was gorgeous! It is very close to the beach and easy to get into town. We couldn’t recommend Casa Del Mar more. XOXO'

'Awesome location, directly across the street from the beach. No AC in main part of house. AC ran great in all bedrooms. Hot tub was not operational, and there was not toilet seat on one of the toilets. Manager said owner was shipping one from US, but never arrived. No daily housekeeping, refrigerator did not get or stay cold. And taxis we arranged for pick up to leave, never arrived. We were allotted one towel per person, and had to ask to get them changed out. "We had an amazing stay at Villas HM Palapas del Mar. We traveld with 2 families and got upgraded so we could stay in 1 villa, this included a pool on the ground floor. The villa and rooms are very nice and spacious. Cleaning was done evey day. The food and drinks are great and the service (also on the beach, which is a 1 minute walk) is amazing. On arrival we opted for all inclusive, a good choice if you spend most your daytime near the hotel and like a drink every now and then. Only point of improvement in our room was the showerhead/hand shower. We stayed for 5 nights during our 15 day trip in yucatan. This we experienced as a good amount of time before leaving home."
