'We drove down from Washington State for my birthday and we arrived to be greeted very politely and warming. Walked us to our room and gave us the run down of the history of the home. The entire facility was clean and smelled clean as well. Both hosts were very polite and accommodating! Thank you so much for a memorable birthday weekend. '

'het hotel heeft ons echt verrast en de kamers waren in positieve zijn compleet anders dan op de foto. De kamers waren namelijk compleet vernieuwd en gemoderniseerd. Verder is het qua geluid heel rustig en je hoord letterlijk niets, dus ook niet de weg waar het hotel aanligt. Ook de wifi was prima en lekker snel. In de buurt vind je overigens veel restaurants waar je heerlijk kan eten.'

'Its a nice motel, quiet, clean, pet friendly of course. I used to live over in this area in some apartments behind the small shopping center next to it and I feel its pretty safe. They have cameras installed around the motel though for guests peace of mind. Its got restaurants And Jitter Bean right across the street super convenient.. warm place to stay for a night or 2. Alao the shower handle fell off while turning it one and they were very nice about it and offered a change of room immediately...

'This hotel reminded us of the glory days of Eureka. The room was nice, but a bit noisy as we needed open windows at night, which lets in traffic noise. The architecture of the place is great. All the staff are personable, friendly, and helpful. '

'The staff was exceptionally courteous, respectful and personable. Misty went out of her way to make things comfortable and even upgraded our reservation for minor inconveniences. She was very kind and we appreciated her attentiveness! Thank you to Misty and her staff for an amazing stay. The rooms were very clean and comfortable! Thanks again!!'

'Easily the cleanest rental we have ever stayed in, and comfortable too.The property is so well maintained and the gardens are wonderful. As others have noted, the breakfast far exceeded any expectations we had. So much so, my husband threatened to lick the baking dish! Will be looking for recipes to try and duplicate.Only wish it had been warm enough to eat outside. My highest recommendation!'

'Very young Front Desk Staff & friendly. I booked online with Expedia & “Breakfast Included” was stated. On arrival, I was told “Breakfast Included”. Next mourning in the dining room, I was handed a menu with prices. I asked if this was the “included” breakfast & told ‘Yes’. I ordered an omelette & beverage. When I finished eating, I was given a bill of $15+. I showed my room key & online reservation to the day manager who as clearing tables. She said only a ‘Continental’ Breakfast” was included...

'Loved this beautiful old hotel, the staff were all friendly and welcoming. Very conveniently located in the historic downtown. My only hesitation to recommend it to some folks would be if you went the wrong direction you would quickly enter a small group of homeless people. I had no problems however and walked all over the historic downtown to see the lovely Victorian architecture, the pretty waterfront, the murals and to many wonderful restaurants.
