'The bed was so soft it was so uncomfortable and made my back hurt'

'This affordable hotel is about 20 mins drive from downtown Charleston. Staff is helpful and nice. We booked for 5 persons, but we had to make the sofabed ourselves. Also there were only towels provided for 4. When we asked, it was no problem and got them. Breakfast is good, but the line for waffles was long and is at the start of the buffet. Maybe move the waffle station to the end and get an extra waffle iron would help a lot. '

'Breakfast was great. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful.'

'If there was a way to leave more stars i would.. legitimately every person on the staff valet/front desk/maintenance team/restaurant and bar workers was a legit pleasure to deal with. Ive never had a more pleasant experience at a hotel/resort. Special shout out to Lizzie who helped my wife plan a bunch of things and was a legit just a ray of sunshine every time we spoke to her..This was our honeymoon and it could not have been better 100 stars out of 5.!!!'

'I choose to stay at this hotel and this location. because it is clean, well-kept, and everything I need in a hotel. On this occasion, multiple members of my family also stayed here and really loved how nice, clean, and pleasant the hotel is. I will keep choosing this hotel when I come to Charleston.'

'Prima hotel voor de prijs. Niks meer niks minder. Vervelend dat er maar 2 handdoeken lagen terwijl we met z’n 4en waren'

'The room had built up dirt in every corner. My white socks were dirty after walking from the bed to the bathroom. There was dust on the room divider wood. We were put in a room along the highway. It was very noisy. The staff was friendly and helpful.'

'Great place'

'Our room wasn't cleaned, the beds were possibly made (couldn't tell for sure) but there were crumbs and garbage from the previous occupants in several places. The bathroom had clumps of hair in corners that had been there for some time. All appliances had caked up dust on them so the room hadn't been cleaned properly in ages. Management was understanding to some extent and offered another room that was equally dirty. We ended up staying the night in the second room after cleaning the bath and...

'Staff is unfriendly. Property is unclean and the back door is left propped open all the time because the keypad does not work (very unsafe). Don't come to the breakfast late because they start cleaning it up at 9:00 not 9:30. Shower doors leak so you'll have a puddle of water in your room. Possible mold on the air conditioner. Would not recommend.'

'Very nice hotel. The room was according expectations, the swimming pool also. All was well, except for the breakfast. Staff looked angry and tired. No cold drinks, also food was scarce. Terrible. After consulting the reception, the cold drinks were replenished. But 15 minutes later everything was empty, again!'
