« Property was very clean and tidy. Room size and layout was perfect for us. Room was very hot and fans was not really helping. Unfortunately we was not informed that they had a problem with gas supply so unable to do any food that evening or breakfast this was very disappointing and nothing offered. No parking at hotel ment it was a little awkward unloading. But overall a very nice centrally located place. »

« Chambre au dessus du restaurant de cet établissement charmant, typique et chaleureux. Le bâtiment est historique, ne cherchez pas une isolation phonique efficace, mais le lieu vaut le détour. La décoration de notre chambre semblait décalée -du mobilier tout en miroir?!- mais la salle de bain est jolie, actuelle et fonctionnelle . Le personnel est très jeune mais efficace , prévenant et attentif. Je recommande chaudement. »

« The bed were confortable and the room was large enough. Breakfast was good (except the coffee). When we entered the room there was a strong stench. It was the drain of the shower. They gave us perfume because we couldn't breath even with the window open. At night we had to closed the bathroom door and in the morning it was terrible. They didn't fix it after our first night and we hope they did after our stay. Plus, there was chewing gum on the contour sheet and we could not find the lady of the...

« Beautiful 18th Century pub in quiet village location. Taken to room, lovely decor, big bed, bathroom was a little tired. Shower had no hot water when I tried at 4.30pm, thankfully had some the following morning. Had a wonderful night sleep, a shame some kind of breakfast is not included in the price. Welcoming staff and lovely locals. Would I stay again, yes. »

« A nice stay, with a very good breakfast. A few maintenance issues in the bedroom which needed addressing with a paint brush, and some cleaning issues, which were loose cotton threads from the sheets scattered everywhere. Simple stuff to do to get 5 stars, and to ensure standards are as they should be. »

« What a friendly bunch they are at The Old Bell. Clear the new owners and motivated to make this a great spot for all. A truly warm welcome and great chat with the staff; all keen to learn and do things the right way. They really are a credit to the management. Rooms still need a little work, mattress on the bed was not great at all, but everywhere clean and tidy. Would happily stay again when in the area for work. »
