Let's start with the positive. The house is impressive when you drive up thru the gate. The front and rear landscaping are just beautiful and well maintained. Upon opening the ront doors you are met with a wall of glass that looks out to the rear yard. Sunrises and sunsets are breathtaking. The views of Temecula and countryside are gorgeous. Communication with the homeowners was easy and they responded quickly. They were very gracious and honored our request for an early check in. Check in was easy as well.Now to the issues: Upon arrival, our friend noticed a receipt on a bedside table, a candy wrapper in another room, and an energy drink in the laundry room. Our friends sheets smelled and their bedspread had the strong smell of perfume (not laundry detergent/dryer sheet). She had to wash the sheets and did not use the bedspread. There is a broken window in their bedroom. There is a gap in the door from their bedroom to their patio.The guest bathroom cold water is inoperable in the sink.The kitchen is sufficiently stocked to meet basic needs. We washed everything before using it. The entire house and outside patio furniture needs a good cleaning/scrubbing. There are no bedside or table side lamps. The outside ceiling fan blades are sagging.There is a 3/4" gap in the door from the living room to the patio. We saw 3 mice in the living room; 2 went under the couch and the other ran into a locked room. Mouse droppings were found in the guest bath and patio

Everything about the place and the location was spectacular. My only complaint would be that the Internet did not work even after getting the proper sign in information from the owner I had to use my personal hotspot the entire time.

Lovely house with beautiful views. Comfortable and quiet. No info manual provided. Was able to get the WiFi password from the host but had to guess at a lot. Inside was clean but patio and outside furniture could use a scrub. Kitchen well stocked with cookware and dishes. Bedside lamps would be useful in all the bedrooms. Half bath near the laundry needs the workings in the toilet tank replaced so it will fill. WiFi very spotty. TV was temperamental-no sound at times, channels unavailable. Manual needed.

Beautiful House & Grounds

I booked this for a “Girls Trip” to wine country while our husbands played golf in Utah. The house was exactly as pictured, very spacious, comfortable beds, lots of towels, extra blankets and pillows, and a well stocked kitchen. Flowers were blooming everywhere, and the Star Jasmine wrapped around the patio support beams smelled so good. The setting is very private and peaceful, we watched hot air balloons rising in the distance every morning, and listened to the neighborhood rooster greeting the day while we drank our coffee. The Brass Barn is a great place for a party, we had pre dinner cocktails at the bar our first night there. The house is close to many great wineries, and we visited a few of them for wine tastings and dinners. The only negatives I can mention is that several lightbulbs were burned out in some of the bedrooms and bathrooms, no replacements to be found, broken lamp switch, shower handle broken in one of the bathrooms, cracked window in a bedroom, and the garage remotes didn’t work, probably dead batteries. The radio connected to the sound system didn’t work either, but not as important. We only found one hairdryer and it was stuck on low, so bring your own!! The lack of adequate lighting in some of the upstairs rooms was the biggest issue, we shouldn’t have to spend our vacation time trying to find lightbulbs and batteries. Either the cleaning crew or someone, maybe the house contact, should be keeping up with things like that.

Beautiful home with incredible views!!!

THIS HOME HAS AMAZING VIEWS!!! We enjoyed our weekend stay in this home. It was perfect for our college age kids with all the games that the house offers..Pool table, mini golf, ping pong, etc. We enjoyed sitting on the patio every evening enjoying the sunset and hot air balloons in the mornings. Host offers plenty of refrigeration for your food and drinks, Beds were comfy and AC worked great!

This house is absolutely beautiful! Not only that the landscaping is perfect...Before I booked I read the reviews, there were very few negative ones but I remember thinking when I first got there...those people are crazy! You really couldn't expect anything better! Definitely recommend and would love to stay again!

Mixed Bag

The house and property are extremely impressive! The view and location are the best in the area! The owners were easily reachable and responded quickly to our texts. Unfortunately though, there were a few things that didn't match up. We specifically picked this property because of the Brass Bar Barn. It was a bit of a disappointment... the floors were scratched up, the appliances were out of order, it didn't have as much seating as the pictures showed, it had a musty smell to it, and it didn't have a TV when there were cords sticking out of the wall where one was clearly supposed to be... so we didn't end up using the space to hang out like we had hoped. Luckily, the inside of the main house was even more impressive than the pictures showed, so we enjoyed spending our time in there. We also had an issue with the Wifi and were never able to work because the passwords left for us didn't match up on any of our devices. There were several small maintenance issues like the smoke detector batteries being out (which the owner fixed when we let them know), blinds not working properly, water temperatures being labeled backwards in bathroom showers, and door handles being loose. Overall, I would still recommend this property because of the view and grandeur of the house... but go in realizing, it doesn't seem closely maintained.

Great property! Pictures do not do it justice. 3-4 miles from all the main wineries. Super cute wineries even closer. Owner rep was great to work with! We will be back!!

Accurate listing, phenomenal communication, clean home and beautifully landscaped property, comfy beds, stocked kitchen, perfect for our staycation weekend. Location is in wine country, quiet and tranquil at night. Make sure you catch a sunrise over the valley of vineyards, and enjoy the hot air balloons rising. 100% recommend and will return someday.

Perfect birthday weekend!

Effortless

My stay at this property was amazing. Let me start from the beginning. Two weeks before my scheduled arrival I contacted the property manager to ask them if I could check in a few hours early. With out hesitation they replied with a yes. Right after that I receive an email with my check in instructions providing me with the gate code and the lock box code for the key. Upon arriving to the property I followed my instructions and was in the house in less than two minutes. That is why the title of my review is effortless. Checking into a hotel takes longer then that. The house was beautiful. The pictures provided on the website were spot on. The view are amazing as well. In the morning we watched hot air balloons take off in the horizon. Check out was just as easy. We had to follow the instructions provided, throw trash away, lock all doors, and shut off all lights then drive off. If I’m ever in Temecula again this will be the place I stay.

Attention to details would have earned a 5 star review.

The property is stunning and the views are amazing with balloons flying every morning, and the grounds are kept up superbly! The furnishings are different from the photos,( not as elaborate) but it was all tasteful and the beds and couches were comfortable, and bathrooms beautiful.....however.... We, 8 women over 50, would have given a five star review had all the amenities and basic items were checked before our arrival. 2 main appliances were not functioning and the beautiful outdoor fireplace we were excited to use in the evenings but was not working either. Also one bedroom sliding screen door to the balcony was not working, and lastly the mini golf course needs attention. The reason we mention these things is because for as beautiful a place this is, and how is was listed with all these great amenities, it deserves more attention to the details for the next guests coming in. A check list of basic items (i.e.: wine openers...there were none) and maybe even stocking the Keurig with some coffee pods (empty) would be a nice touch and perhaps a baking sheet pan? For as wonderful a home it is, these details would have made all the difference in the world for us. But mainly checking that the functionality of ALL appliances mentioned in the listing would avoid phone calls to the manager. We still would recommend staying here. But perhaps a phone call to the property manager prior to visit to make sure everthing works would avoid any surprises.
