Due to Covid we have enhanced our cleaning procedures between stays and are also disinfecting high touch surfaces. Quality hand sanitiser, antibacterial soaps and cleaning products are supplied and contactless checkin/out is also in place. **

Quiet peaceful retreat in attractive garden setting with large mature native trees. Beautifully furnished and warm double glazed house with all new beds, comfortable leather couches that seat 7+ people (sit back and enjoy the 65" 4K QLED TV and the ultrafast broadband), separate dining room, outdoor table and chairs for six and everything you need for a pleasant stay. No lumpy mattresses or saggy sofas!

New kitchen with dishwasher. Air conditioning. Rear deck with BBQ and easy garden access catches all afternoon and evening sun, with front verandah sited for morning sun. Fully fenced flat garden at end of cul de sac with large lawn area and trampoline with safety nets. Plenty of off street parking - even room for a boat.

20 minute walk to centre of town, 5 minute walk to one set of shops, 10-15 minute walk to Rifle Range Rd shops and takeaways. Close to lake and boat ramps.

Linen and cleaning on departure are both also available for an extra charge.
Special conditions:
Absolutely no smoking and no pets allowed. Minimum stay 2 nights. Longer minimum stay applies in peak holiday periods, 3 nights minimum over Wellington Anniversary, Auckland Anniversary, Waitangi, Queens Birthday and Labour Weekends, 4 nights at Easter, 5 nights between Christmas and New Year period. Premium rates may apply for special events.

Family trip to New Zealand for one daughter to participate in the world championship half iron man race that was hosted in Taupō. We visited area beaches and attractions from the convenient Beach Tree Cottage location. The kitchen had everything we needed to be able to enjoy home cooked meals when we wanted. We all enjoyed the sunny deck and wonderful garden. Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful home with us.

The property was amazing. Incredibly clean, had everything we could ask for. The beds were comfortable, was beautiful and warm when we arrived. We were so surprised walking into this home as to how spacious and updated it is. Out of all the places we stayed during our 2 week trip, moving every few days, this was by far the nicest and most comfortable home. In a lovely and peaceful neighborhood close to town, we were greeted with beautiful welcome gifts in the counter, there is a good sized, private back yard and the spacious, cozy living room was appreciated along with special additions like a Bluetooth stereo and oscillating stand up fans in each bedroom. Mattresses were comfortable and communication and responses from the owner were prompt. I can’t think of a single negative thing to say about this home. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We were in Taupo for 3 nights for the Equifest show. We were so happy to check into a place that was exactly as described, lovely and clean, well appointed and very comfortable. Nowadays you never really know what you will get so it was really lovely to find such a beautiful honest home. Thanks so much :)

What a well presented, clean warm and kitted out home. Clear communication. Perfect place for us to stay as sports team supporters. We wpuld recommend this home to anyome wishing for a central location in Taupo. Bonus being able to watch to rugby on sky and the kids and adults loved the electric blankets.

Thank you so much Jacquie for opening her property up to myself and my family. I travelled to Taupo for business and pleasure and we need a large property for my family close to town. The interior of the property is lovely, modern, very clean and just what we needed. Communication with the host was seamless, proactive and inviting. The location was perfect, close to town, the gym, restaurants and local shops. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Taupo.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this lovely, well appointed home. The house has been very nicely renovated, with high quality furnishings and fit out. It was warm and quiet, in a handy location. Our children were very excited by the books, games, toys and trampoline to entertain on a rainy day, and the men appreciated the big tv with sky sport. We would certainly stay again.
