Villa's in Zuidoost-Illinois

'My room wasn’t clean, the vents were filthy and the windows sills were dirty. I normally stop in Effingham every time we traveled to Chicago and this was my first and last time staying in the Holidays Inn.'

'We stay here every August for a local event. We have an Aussie and she can stay with us for a small fee. It’s usually quiet and there is a good local restaurant next door.'

'Bathroom had dirty walls and baseboards. Wash clothes and towels were all stained. Bed sheets were clean but stained. Not normal Ramada Quality. Very old motel.'

'What we absolutely loved about our stay, and what made the experience uniquely special, was the exceptional treatment that Joshua showered us with—from the time he greeted us at our vehicle upon check-in—to the time he walked us to our vehicle at checkout. The room and common areas were flawlessly kept, the property was peaceful, and the other guests were just as pleased as we were to share such a wonderful space. The added bonus is that Joshua makes a superb quiche!'

'Quaint little boutique hotel in the heart of Casey. Easy to walk to the majority of "big" things. Check in was impersonal using a kiosk. We had no in person contact with any hotel personnel. The room was clean and had lots of character. Very comfortable beds. We stayed in 305, which meant climbing two flights of very noisy, creaky stairs. Luckily, we were at the end of the hall, very far away from the stairs. The room was cool and comfortable, but had a very loud A/C unit. Clean bathroom, but no...

'Love the location, the peacefulness of the area and the restaurant called "Joes" nearby. However this time we noticed a musty smell in room 108. Room was clean, just had a must smell to it. We have stayed here at least 5 times and this is the first time we noticed this smell.'

'Gym was not operational... one reason we reserved there. Some of the room trim was tired or in disrepair.'
