'Lovely home & setting. Very peaceful. Lots of nice touches…snacks, popcorn machine, wood for outdoor fire & supplies for s’mores, breakfast foods available, etc. Owner very responsive, polite & easy to work with. Only complaint about the house was it needed a good deep cleaning. I’m sure it’s hard to accomplish this with the few hours they have between check out & check in. We did have issues with the listing on VRBO - when booked (almost a year ago) the listing did say events up to 50 people....

'My husband and I stayed here for a weekend. We had a very relaxing stay, just what we were looking for! Also, caught a few fish. This place is well stocked with all your daily essentials. The view of the river is beautiful. The property owner is very responsive and helpful. We hope to visit this cabin again or check out another property from this same owner in the future soon(:'

'Host is attentive to issues and is very communicative. As other reviews have mentioned the check in and out process is a little over the top. The AC is shut off after each renter so be prepared to arrive to 85 degrees and have to wait for the house to cool down once you turn on at check in if staying during hot weather.'

'We had a great time staying in this cabin. Kim came kayaking by and gave us the courage to give it a try. She was very kind in helping teach our kids how to row the kayaks and just checking in on us. We did some fishing, took a walk, and hung out on the porch watching the river. The fireflies at night are the coolest thing I’ve ever seen. My niece loved catching the frogs. Staying here feels like you’re at a family lake house.'

'I wasn’t comfortable sleeping in the beds. The sheets had hair and glitter in them. I sanitized a comforter and covered the couch. It had glitter on it also. I slept on the couch and left a day early. I was afraid to use anything in the kitchen. Thank goodness I brought my own pillow and blanket.'

'We were in town visiting friends with family. There were multiple adults and we had a dog. The property is exactly as advertised. It is beautiful with white linens and it was extremely clean. 'The place was very nice, clean, very inviting with snacks, inspirational notes, soft plush towels. Keurig with all the accessories. It is located in a quiet country area town. The only con was that the water didn’t stay hot while showering. There are TV’s in every room. I definitely recommend this place for anyone to stay.'

'There were 7 of us visiting to attend my daughter's graduation from GA Southern. This house was a nice place for all of us to stay together and only 30 mins out from Statesboro with a very easy drive between the two. Space was clean and stocked with everything needed amenity wise. Booking was easy and we had a nice stay. Would recommend for anyone. Another plus is a DG a skip and hop from the house.
