'This was a very old historical building in as good of a shape as it could be. Some uneven floors and a lot of steps to get to your room. It was small and quiet charming. The staff was pleasant and helpful. A bus stop was right out the side. Very pleasant. The bed was nice, no air conditioning, but it was fairly cool when we went in August, 2026. They had a fan. We are from Florida so the low 70's was a joy for us for August.'

'Lovely one night stay. The Sunday lunch was delicious, the room was lovely with a huge round bath. Staff were all helpful and friendly. Nice breakfast. I'm sure we'll return. '

'I was pleasantly surprised at the high quality and spaciousness of my room (10). Staff were friendly and professional; the assistant at breakfast was first rate in supporting a substantial number of guests. And the Craster kippers were excellent. The one thing missing at breakfast was a bowl of fresh fruit. Dinner was well prepared and presented. All in all a very good experience at the Duke of W.'

'Classic British experience - love the pub and inn together - that way, you don't need much in the rooms themselves, cause you are downstairs having a drink , great food and a chat with other travelers - really was a brilliant experience.'

'If you are looking for a safe secure location close to all major amenities. This place is ideal very clean and the staff are very friendly indeed, parking right outside so you don't have to walk far to get to your vehicle. Will definitely be booking another stay in the near future.'

'Fijn hotel. Vriendelijke staf, goed eten. 's Avonds hoorden we op onze slaapkamer, die boven de pub ligt, wel wat rumoer vanuit de pub, maar dat vonden we juist wel gezellig. Slechts één winkeltje in het dorp, gedreven voor -- alweer -- erg vriendelijke mensen. Aanrader!'

'Almost everything OK. Moreover Corbridge is a nice town. I wander about one thing. In the room ther were no hooks and no chairs. What do English people do with clothes? What do they do with their towels? No idea. There is plenty of space for hooks.'

'Super mooie locatie. Prachtig wandelen. Uitzicht super. Vriendelijke mensen. Eten heerlijk . De bedden minder comfortabel '

'Great little pub and the owners are fantastic. I loved it'

'Fantastisch ontbijt en behulpzaam personeel.'

'Good room (a bit warm though), food was great, we enjoyed our stay.'
