Friendly staff, clean hotel, excellent location (walking distance from the train station as well as from the Shambles and the Minster). Our only downfall was the construction work that was a but noisy in the morning, and the fact that the fan in the bathroom was not efficient (it would ger humid after a shower). Would recommend this hotel !

Lovely cosy room and the breakfast was probably the best we have ever had. Lovely staff and we loved our stay. Great location and the views were amazing.

Everything about our stay at Glendevon was excellent. First class communications from the owner and entry was simple and straightforward. The cottage itself was simply wonderful and such a brilliant location just a few steps away from the harbour and the awesome Cod and Lobster pub. Plenty of space ...

Lovely staff, dilapidated water damaged rooms.
In spite of some very lovely staff, this hotel is in an appalling state and desperately need of a facelift. Water damage on the walls, peeling paint, leaking toilets, a broken shower and windows that havenât been cleaned in years. The owners need to spend a lot of money on this establishment that ...
