Beach Place #200 - #200 is a spacious 1 bedroom, 1 bath rental property near everything, including popular John's Pass Village, white sandy beaches and heated, refreshing swimming pool! Although this unit has no balcony and and only partial gulf view from bedroom, you are still at Beach Place, directly on the beach! Perfect for couples, guests can enjoy a kitchen, fully stocked with utensils, including coffeemaker and microwave. The large living area, bathed in soft neutral colors, provides plenty of room and offers a relaxing atmosphere after a day exploring Madeira Beach. Free WiFi and long distance telephone to US and Canada is also included. Free Wifi This unit has one parking spot. There is no additional parking at Beach Place.

You will be required to sign a rental agreement with SunHost Resorts prior to a reservation being confirmed.

The master bedroom offers ample space, comfortable king sized bed, television, providing every comfort from home. As with every SunHost property, linens, extra towels and pillows are all stocked, and ready for you upon arrival. This is a non smoking property.

When staying in a SunHost unit you will also have access to 7 day a week office staff, office services (copying, print boarding passes etc.) We also have maintenance available 7 days a week if you experience any issues at the property and an after hours emergency on call person. This is a non smoking unit.

But did we mention location? Across is the street is John's Pass Village, a quaint turn-of-the-century fishing village and Pinellas County's #1 tourist attraction. The Village has over one hundred unique shops, a variety of restaurants, the local fishing fleet, dolphin watching and shelling tours, boat rentals, parasailing and jet skiing. Best of all as a SunHost customer you can walk to this great entertainment destination.

Madeira Beach is a sought after community, just west of St. Petersburg. It's 2.5 mile beach is popular with sun lovers and offers some of the best fishing in the area. This beautiful Gulf getaway, has something for everyone, including dolphin watching, water sports along some of the most beautiful crystal clear waters in the world.

Nearest airports are Tampa International Airport at just over 20 miles and St. Petersburg Clearwater International at 10 miles away.

Overall a very great place to stay for two people. Host was excellent with communication. Check in process very easy and friendly. Simple amenities. No beach view or balcony. We knew that before we arrived but also didn’t plan to spend a lot of time in the unit. Shower is small but nice. Would have liked to have a unit washer and dryer. No dishwasher but we didn’t need it this time. Very close to John’s Pass and all the attractions. Right on the beach. Nice area. Within walking distance to everything. Clean. Great for the price.

Perfect for a quick trip

Overall our stay was good. The owner was great with communication. When we checked in the elevator was broken so we had to carry everything up to the 2nd floor. They had maintenance at the building promptly to fix it. The unit was clean. The shower is very small! Great location! Right on the beach and walking distance to John's Pass, literally right across the street. Perfect for a quick get away. We would stay again.

Don’t book during Seafood Festival

Property was wonderful - the unit was clean & comfortable! Unfortunately we checked in during the Seafood Festival being held across the street.The police guarding the parking area were overzealous in their enforcement & did not allow us to enter our designated parking spot until we explained that we were checking in. No apologies, just LOUD words!! Patience is a virtue. We will stay again but not during that particular weekend.

Needs some attention

We love the location, pool, beach, John’s Pass. However, the condo is very simple- bare minimums. It desperately needs towel racks, and a hand towel rack for the bathroom, a mirror for the bedroom and another folding beach chair. Emphasis should be made on the low ceilings and the dangerously low ceiling fan in the dining area. Mention of a stall shower would be beneficial- it worked for us but may not work for all.

Great location

We stayed in ths unit for a week. The place was very clean and large enough but no outside space. I really like a balcony and this did not have one. I knew that but thought I could do without. That is the only reason I would not book again.

Nice property . Disappointing condo unit.

Facility outside was very nice with a great pool. Location however is next to public beach entrance and area was vey busy. The condo is small and a bit run down. The online photos make it look much nicer then it was. Shower was very small and a tight fit for my 6 ft husband. The unit is also located next to the elevator and the maid’s supply room so it is very noisy. The door to the outside locks but does not seal showing daylight along 2 sides. Will not be staying at this location again.

Location was great. The actual property was very outdated. Need new furnishings, bed and couch. Very small table. No extra seating. The place didn’t come with some normal essentials for cleaning. The floor was very dirty.

Do not stay at Beach Place Unit 200

The 2 room condo is an old unit that is in desperate need of a deep clean and update. Ceiling fan is too low (husband hit his head on the blade); shower is too small for even one person); no dishwasher; barely any cookware; refrigerator is small with no ice maker or water dispenser: ceiling was dirty; not sure if the smoke alarms work or not but need to be replaced. Sprinklers were rusted and looked horrible against the white POPCORN ceiling? We were appalled at how dilapidated this condo looked. We have stayed at other SunHost Resorts and this is by far the absolute WORST one we have ever stayed. We can't believe how much we paid to stay here. We believe you get what you pay for and this unit is not worth it.$$$ The seafood festival was going on this weekend. AND upon check out from.room, we were told we had to move our car even though our flight isn't until 9 tonight. We had planned to stay and visit the shops at John's Pass. We literally ended up driving about 200 yards and paying $25 to park!!! We won't use Sunhost nor will we ever return to this resort. You lost a good paying customer.

Nice short walk to John's pass

The room was nice mainly because it's on the beach and a short walk to John's pass . As of the room it could of been cleaned better.(detail clean), and someone else's shoes where found. We were not sure if the shoes belonged to the owner so we left them in the room . My head hit the ceiling fan a few times. I would suggest a pizza pan to be added to the kitchen supplies. Otherwise good room and good location!

Not what we were expecting

The property has no view. The elevator is right next to the bedroom wall- too noisy. The street is loud. The shower would back up whenever dishes were done in the kitchen sink. We reported it 3 times without satisfactory resolution. The bathroom needs a good scrubbing; dust hanging from the bathroom exhaust fan and very dusty baseboards. The bed is comfortable. Ceiling fan in dining area is too low for tall people.

Rooms are pictured as on website. Very Clean. Staff is great very helpful. A minute walk to beach and pool. You are responsible to throw out the trash recyclables in one bin , trash in the other . Walking distance to John Pass broadwalk.! Beautiful views! Will be back Thank you

So-so

As for the condo itself....We weren't expecting anything glamorous, and we were right. It's a decent condo, with the basics. A place to sleep and shower. The elevator shaft shares the same wall as the bedroom. If you're expecting peace and quiet until 9AM, forget it! The bedroom carpet is in serious need of replacement as well. Again, the condo is so-so. As for the property....nice property. Seems to be kept up nicely. The pool is very nice. The bbq grills are nice to use if you don't want to go out to dinner every night. There is a laundry room for your washing needs. Bring your quarters! If you forget them, they will sell you some quarters at the office. There is not a vending machine for the detergent. Bring some or buy some at the local store. Location is nice. Right across the street from the "John's Pass" shops and restaurants! Walking distance to everything except the supermarket. All in all....a nice place to stay. If we stay at this property again, we will spend the extra money and get a condo that faces the Gulf. Do yourself a favor and do the same thing!
