So Much Potential

When we found this property and booked our group, we thought it might be too good to be true. And in a way it was. The location and access to the beach is close and comfortable and the owners did a nice job flipping this house to be beautiful and modern. The downsides included a broken bed in the bedroom that leads to the pool. The air conditioning was out of service four out of the five days that we stayed on this property. And Weil, the electrician was incredibly kind and helpful and the homeowners communicated and sent over box fans, it was difficult to deal with the heat during our stay. It also meant we had workers at the house that we had to be sure to be out of the house during their work, which meant we got a little burnt at the beach. As a result of the electricity going out multiple times, the refrigerator was unable to keep most of our food cool we lost some of the food that we had purchased as part of the process and wound up dining out each night instead of our plans to stay in in order to save money While the homeowner response was quick, and the workers kind, we received only a refund for one night stay and 100 to cover our meals. We are a group of 12. 100 does not come close to covering meals or the amount of food we lost in the fridge.Weil I appreciate this young couple working so hard to make it a beautiful stay there are still areas that need to be repaired on this home. For example, the picture show a screened in pool. However, the pool screening is torn

Spacious with room for everyone!

We had a party of ten ages ranging from 26 to 92. The five bedrooms, full kitchen, lower level with foosball table, outdoor enclosed pool with bar, grill and tv to stream Christmas movies made this an ideal space for our group. Large kitchen table that fit our whole group for meals and games was great. The two mini bar fridges were helpful with extra space for food and drinks. The full size washer and dryer allowed for keeping up with washing needs. Quiet cul de sac street.

A great place for a family vacation

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was clean, well-equipped, in a safe area and in a great location. The house is bigger than it looks and the pool area is fantastic!

Poor maintenance of this property

We arrived to a broken fence so our dog couldn't be in the yard, the living room sofa was broken, the downstairs bed was broken, the kitchen cold water didn't work, no ice/water from the fridge and no ice trays. Also the basement room had been wet and the sheets were damp and the room was very musty. The sheets had to be laundered and all the dishes had to be washed. The only frying pan in the kitchen was broken. The pool heater didn't work and the internet service was listed as "poor" so you couldn't watch two tvs at once. There were other items that were a problem, but as you can see, this home hadn't been maintained in quite awhile. The yard was also a mess and the garden bench broken and covered in green moss. The outdoor lights didn't work at all. We called and submitted pictures and the property management company stated that since maintenance came and fixed a few items, they didn't feel the need to compensate us. No apology either! VRBO defaulted to the property management company and they offered no assistance as well. We were very disappointed in our stay and also the response we got when we reported all of this. I would not recommend this home until a new property management company can take over and bring the home back to proper standards. It can be a nice property if it has the care that it needs. We should have received some form of compensation for all the things that were wrong, and also they didn't seem to care that we were so inconvenienced.

Great house with lots of space

We had a great stay. Host is very responsive. Lots of space and well kept house. Host provided the essentials such as toilet paper etc. This is a nice bonus. Easy drive to the beach with lots of parking options. Would recommend to others.

Great place for chillin’ after theme parks in Orlando

Great space in fantastic location for some relaxing time with the family on the beautiful beaches. The pool was fully utilised by all the family and children and adults alike made good use of the available pool toys.

Great house, close to beaches!

We really enjoyed our stay in this home. I loved the decor of the home and communication with the property owner/management was fast and seamless. The pool and the 2nd living room was a huge plus. The size of the home was bigger than we thought, which was great for our family. The beach drive was only maybe 5-8 min away. The house had everything we needed plus more. The only downside is the fact that you have to wash your bath towels and put them in the dryer before you leave which is a first for us in the many vacation rentals we’ve rented. Other than that, our stay was amazing and would come back again!

Family Vacation

Our family had a wonderful time at this vacation home. My husband and me, our two daughters, son and son-in-law, and 5 grandchildren stayed there. Plenty of space and the pool was a hit! The house is located in a quiet residential neighborhood close to a grocery store. The beach is a couple miles away. Within walking distance if you’re up for a long walk. There are a couple public parking lots near Indian Shores beach. Easter Sunday was the only day we couldn’t find a parking space early in the afternoon. We recommend this house.

Family Fun

Lots of options for lounging, playing, cooking, clean up and sleep. Layout was great! Beds were very comfortable. Bathrooms need a good grout cleaning. The shower hardware needs some tlc. Otherwise clean and aesthetically pleasing. The pool was warm and big enough to accommodate many. Overall it was a really nice stay!

Family New Year’s Stay

The layout of this house was perfect for two families and the grandparents. We could spread out enough and the teens (6 of them) could have the lower level to hang out at night. The pool was great and it’s an easy 5 minute drive to the beach. The wagon and beach chairs and boogie boards were a nice extra to be able to use. The host was easy to get in touch with with questions. We loved the house and location and hope to come back!

As Good As It Gets!

Fantastic property! Enjoyed a family vacation with 8 adults and three children. Nice safe, quiet street. Layout of the house is great! This house has everything you need! Have rented in the past and didn't even get dish soap! This house is VERY well appointed. Best we have experienced. Location terrific. Beaches, grocery, etc. all close by. Indian Rocks beach was beautiful! Any negatives found were not deal breakers. Would absolutely book this house again. KT-- Venice FL

Vacation-Feel

The property was spacious, clean, beautifully remodeled and decorated, and very versatile. Our family included a variety of ages and we found plenty of room to spread out and either be all together or gather to visit in smaller groups in other areas. The pool area was enjoyed by all and provided plenty of privacy from the neighbors and yet another terrific gathering place. The large kitchen was well supplied with everything necessary and was open to the rest of the living/dining area, allowing for even the cooks to be part of the fun, while the bedrooms had an element of 5-star hotel luxury. The proximity to the beach/restaurants/parks/etc…was a real bonus. We experienced a minor issue which was responded to by the property manager promptly and effectively - I appreciated the excellent communication! Check in/check out was a breeze. We would most certainly return to this rental property!

Great vacation house.
