HIGHLIGHTS

THE CORAL RESORT WATERFRONT OASIS

A classic low-rise “Old Florida” resort set directly on the picturesque Intracoastal Waterway, blending original character with updated amenities. Five small turquoise buildings wrap around a single sunlit pool deck and courtyard. There are only a handful of units in total, so it never feels crowded the way the high-rise hotels a block over do. The courtyard opens straight onto the resort's private dock, with open bay, passing boats and marina views in every direction. Step outside to a heated pool, a private fishing dock, and a grill-side patio, with the Gulf beaches a short walk in the other direction.

LIVING & DINING AREA

Layout: A long, open living and dining room running the width of the apartment, with the kitchen opening onto it across a quartz breakfast bar. Windows on two sides and a glass front door keep it bright all day.
The View: The front door and the living room windows look across the lawn to the seawall, the resort dock and the open bay. Boats, pelicans, the occasional heron on the grass.
Seating: A full-size sofa, a separate loveseat by the window, a leather-topped stool and a walnut coffee table. Two distinct places to sit, which matters when four people are sharing one floor.
Dining: A round walnut table with four leather dining chairs in its own corner window nook, under a linen pendant. Plus two upholstered stools at the breakfast bar for a total of six seats.
Style: Bright modern coastal, done with restraint. Crown molding, pale wide-plank flooring, sea-glass tile detail, a woven jute rug, botanical and coral artwork in navy and coral.
Entertainment: A large wall-mounted flat-screen TV with cable above the breakfast bar, visible from the sofa, the stools and the kitchen.
Ceiling Fan: A quiet fan over the main living space.

THE BEDROOM

Two Full Beds: Both Fulls sit in the one private bedroom with a nightstand between them, so a family or two couples can share the apartment without anyone on a pull-out.
A Separate Room: A true bedroom behind a door, which is exactly what most Clearwater Beach rentals in this size range cannot offer.
Linens: Fresh linens, pillows and extra blankets on both beds.
Second TV: A wall-mounted flat-screen TV facing the beds.
Comfort: A quiet ceiling fan, crown molding, and windows on two walls with blinds for a properly dark room.
Storage: A louvered closet plus a full dresser and bedside storage, so a week's worth of clothes has somewhere to go.

A Real Kitchen: Not a hot plate and a mini-fridge. You get a full electric range and oven, a full-height stainless refrigerator with a bottom freezer, an over-range microwave and a dishwasher, so you can genuinely cook rather than just reheat.
Renovated Finishes: Terrazzo-look white quartz countertops, white cabinetry with brushed nickel hardware, a deep undermount sink with a brushed gooseneck faucet, and a sea-glass tile backsplash that runs up the column beside the breakfast bar.
Coffee & Breakfast Station: Drip coffee maker with mugs on the counter. Brew your first cup and take it out to the dock.
Cookware & Dishware: Pots, pans, plates, glassware, utensils and cooking tools provided, so just bring the groceries. Paper towels, dish soap and starter supplies are on hand when you arrive.

Covered Porch Seating: Chairs on the porch right outside the door, with the pool on one side and the bay in front of you.
Steps to the Pool Deck: The heated pool, sun loungers and courtyard tables are a few paces from your porch.
Out to the Water: The lawn runs from your porch to the seawall and the resort's private dock, the best seat in the house for sunrise.
Parking: On-site parking, so groceries and beach chairs come straight in.

East Shore Drive is the quiet side of the island, the bay side. You get the calm water, the boats and the sunrise, and you are still only a few blocks from everything people come to Clearwater Beach for.

The Beach: Roughly a five-minute walk to the award-winning white sand and clear, warm Gulf water, regularly ranked among the best beaches in the country.
Pier 60 Park: Fishing pier, playground, and the nightly Sunsets at Pier 60 festival with street performers and craft vendors, all within walking distance.
Beach Walk Promenade: The palm-lined waterfront promenade along Gulfview Boulevard, lined with restaurants and shops, is a few blocks away.
Clearwater Beach Marina: Dolphin-watching cruises, sunset sails, jet ski and boat rentals and deep-sea fishing charters launch just up the waterfront from the resort.
Clearwater Marine Aquarium: A must-do for families, just minutes away across the causeway.
Shops & Beach Bars: Local seafood spots, casual beach bars, ice cream, surf shops and souvenir shopping all close at hand on Mandalay Avenue.
Getting Around: The Jolley Trolley stops nearby and runs the length of the beach and up the barrier islands, so you can park once and leave the car for the week.
Airports: St. Pete-Clearwater International is approximately 25 minutes by car; Tampa International approximately 35 to 40 minutes.

EASY-ACCESS FEATURES

C-2 is one of the easier apartments at the resort to get in and out of, but please read this section carefully. It is not a step-free or certified accessible unit.

Please note, brick steps at the entrance: The apartment is on the ground floor of Building C, but the covered porch and front door are reached by a few brick steps with a handrail. There is no ramp and no step-free route to the door. Guests who cannot manage a few steps should contact us before booking so we can check other suites.
Once inside: no interior stairs and no elevator. The entire apartment is on one level.
Single-level, open-plan interior with level flooring throughout and wide, clear walkways.
Parking a few paces from your private front door, and the pool deck sits on the same level as the courtyard.
Please note: the bathroom has a tub with a shower over it, so there is a tub wall to step over. Guests who need a step-in shower should ask us about the other suites.

CONSIDER BEFORE BOOKING

Steps at the Front Door: C-2 is a ground-floor apartment with no interior stairs, but there are brick steps up to the covered porch and front door, with a handrail. There is no ramp or step-free entry. Please reach out before booking if that is a concern.
One Bedroom, Two Full Beds: Both beds are in the same room. That is what makes C-2 great value for a family or two couples, but it does mean everyone sleeping shares one bedroom.
One Bathroom: A single full bathroom serves the apartment.
Waterfront, Not Beachfront: The resort sits on the Intracoastal Waterway. The Gulf beach is a short walk away rather than directly out the back door.
Poolside Location: Being steps from the pool means easy access and a great view. It also means some daytime activity outside your window, which light sleepers may want to keep in mind.
Historic Property: The Coral Resort is a lovingly maintained “Old Florida” property. The interiors are fully renovated, but the buildings themselves carry their original character. That is part of the charm, and worth knowing if you are expecting a new-build high-rise.
Entertainment: The TVs are set up with cable rather than streaming-loaded smart TVs. You are welcome to sign in to your own apps if the sets support it.
Laundry: Washer and dryer facilities are shared and on-site, not in-unit.
Dock Use: Guests are welcome to fish from the dock and enjoy it any time. Swimming and diving from the dock are not permitted, and boats and jet skis cannot be tied up at the dock. If you are bringing a vessel, there are marinas and public ramps nearby; let us know and we will point you to the closest options.
