'The room was in good condition, and was extremely thoughtfully put together. Charleen prepared nicely for our arrival, sending us messages about what to expect, and even stocking the fridge with snacks and homemade muffins. Our only complaint about the cottage itself had to do with the water system. There is only one setting for the shower- which is uncomfortably hot, and only one setting for the faucets in the kitchen and bathroom- which is uncomfortably cold. 'Perfect for a solo traveler, or for a loving couple who just need the basics and not much space. Safeway within walking distance. Working class neighborhood, but not seedy. Property surrounded by new, high fence, so I felt safe. Quiet, except for neighbors' dogs who occasionally have bark fests. But these are infrequent and not loud.
