'Very relaxing cottage with comfortable beds and great hot tub! Wonderful location for enjoying nature.The directions from Cottage.com needed more detail. The hint of being slightly past and across from the Oak Tree Inn and Balmaha boat yard would have been very helpful. '

'What an amazing place, the location was amazing as well. We had the best night away and are already looking at coming back next year for longer as 1 night was just now enough time. The cottage was clean, everything was provided for the hot tub which was lovely, warm and private. Thank you so much. Staff were so welcoming and very nice as well. We loved every part of the cottage it was stunning.'

'Fantastic family break on a working farm. Mr King and his family are lovely warm hosts making sure you have everything you need and are enjoying your stay. Cute quirky cabin and annexe giving plenty space for a large group and the hot tub area an added treat for us all. Had great fun feeding Megan and Moonshine the horses !!'

'The cottage itself was lovely. A really nice chilled week, however the property just required a bit of TLC, it is just looking a bit tired and rough in some areas and the cleanliness was average to say the least. Some plates had been put away dirty and there was cobwebs in several of the rooms. The location was pretty good and it was only 30 minutes in to Glasgow and Ayr is nearby. Overall I would give a 7/10.'

'We had the most amazing stay at this cosy, comfortable cabin surrounded by greenery. It was like living in a tree house. The birdsong was beautiful as were the sunsets and views of the night sky. The cabin was spacious enough for two and had everything we needed for our week long stay, including parking. There is a log fire with plenty of wood for cold days but we were very lucky with the weather and had warm sunshine every day which made the cabin warm and cosy to come back to after days out....

'Spent the weekend here as a group for my sisters hen weekend. The photographs don’t do the facility justice. The house was amazing with so much character!! The staircase, aga and fire were fantastic!! Set in such a peaceful space with excellent grounds for kids and big ‘kids’ to play games. Plenty of space and rooms were an amazing size and comfortable! Would def book again for a large group activity weekend!! '
