Vacances de Snipiskes

This is an old hotel which has not been updated in a long time. The wallpaper is yellowing and the carpets are old. The disgustin furnishings are very outdated. However, we don’t mind all of this as long as a place is clean. Unfortunately, the bathroom had not been well cleaned. There were mould stains in the grouting in the shower and dust and hairs on the bathroom floor and in the tub. I mentioned this to the receptionist and she was very apologetic and said she would speak to the cleaners. We did not opt for the breakfast but were pleased to be able to use the coffee machine which is in a little sitting room where we could sit, look at our maps and have a coffee before going out for the day. The receptionists were always very friendly, but could not answer all of our questions about the city. I asked her if there were any local street markets. She information on a grocery store! We might have missed a fantastic Halé Market if we had just relied on her! We were glad of the air conditioning but could not sleep very long in the morning because the curtains still let a lot of light into the room. The location was good, but there are probably nicer places to stay for the price.

Si l'hôtel est très bien situé à moins de 150m de la cathédrale, je n'ai pas du tout aimé l'appartement en duplex. Uniquement 2 petits Velux pour tout l'appartement, tout est en soupente. On peut à peine se tenir debout dans la chambre au milieu. Si tu te lèves du lit, t'es obligé d'être plié en 2. Nul... Décoration vieillotte...

Chambre côté rue un peu sonore mais super petit déjeuner et proche de la gare.

The pitch is: "We offer our guests a warm and cozy home-like atmosphere"; well, sure, there's an atmosphere, I'd say it's more like a ghost ship: passwords, Key box, emails, but no human being on the horizon, even when you need one. Except for ghostbusters, I don't recommend it.
