Perfect for a quick getaway

We had a great time , a little tight for a family of 5, but it worked out perfectly. I loved having restaurants in the building and my kids loved the arcade. The mattress is the couch needs to be replaced, and there is no light in the shower of the master bath. Other then that we had everything we needed,

Felt deceived by describing this unit as oceanfront

This unit is advertised as oceanfront. Standing on the balcony & looking straight ahead, you see the last unit of the adjacent building; a partial view of the ocean is visible if you look to the left (the picture you see in the ad is a zoomed in view of this partial view). From the windows in the unit, you see the sound. To us, "oceanfront" is a room that faces the ocean and not another building; this unit would be an “oceanview”. St Regis is configured like an inverted V with this unit being farthest from the ocean on that leg of the V. When we expressed our dismay to the company managing the rental, we were told that “all” units were considered oceanfront. We would never have rented this unit had we’d known the above. We saw a few roaches running around the apartment and also some dead ones (pest control at work?). The ad states that this unit sleeps 6. The bunk beds are great for kids but doesn’t fit a tall adult (a member of our party of 4 adults). The pullout sofa bed is extremely uncomfortable –the mattress is so thin that you can feel a metal rod digging into your back. The master bathroom door cannot be opened fully because it bumps into the commode. We lost internet after the 1st night & it was still down when we left 2 days later. When we went to the front desk & told them that we didn’t have internet, we were told to contact Spectrum even though the “guest network” was not specific to the unit but the entire facility & the guest network didn’t work anywhere.

Perfect vacation

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this resort & it is the best! Everything you need at the resort & if you need anything else the Dollar General is a few miles away. We love the area as this was our second visit & we will definitely be back & hope to stay at this same resort!

Condo was ok, location was great!

The condo was smaller than it looked in the photos but wasn’t extremely small. My husband, teenage son, and I were comfortable. However, even thought we bought the linen pkg with towels, they did not include kitchen towels. Using paper towels for everything in the kitchen can get annoying especially when we ran out with only a day or two left before leaving. The water pressure is terrible so don’t expect a decent shower while you’re there. The plastic shower curtain in the master bathroom was super dirty on the bottom edge and needs changed. The pool was awesome with the variety of food and drinks they sold plus the bar had several different beers. There was nothing that told us we could find beach stuff in a storage room just down the hall and we didn’t find it until after we bought a beach chair and umbrella so that was aggravating. The tide on the beach came up to the dunes ever day about 4:00 so keep that in mind. We enjoyed our stay even with the few things that weren’t great. The overall property was clean and inviting.

Great location, great pool, nice resort staff.

Great little resort! Felt very safe and was nice to let my boys and their friends roam the property with little worry. The condo is a little over stated in the description, but it got the job done and was comfortable with amazing views outside of every window. It could use a little TLC. New paint, new couch and bathroom remodels would make it easily a 5 star experience. Again, our overall experience was great and I'd stay in the same unit again. It was a great value overall.

Good stay - Great part of North Topsail

We enjoyed the location. It was clean and the pool was nice. There were multiple beach access and shower/wash points which was nice. We enjoyed the ice cream place too. (The old pool/hot tub area is an eyesore). We were a little disappointed that the gym wasn’t open. We weren’t told that prior to arrival. Our condo was clean and the kitchen had what we needed. The bathrooms are outdated and one is very small (the door hits the toilet when opening it). Several of the blinds won’t open. There was only one plastic chair on the balcony. The mattress on the fold out sofa isn’t fit to sleep on but we only had one guest who slept on the twin. The tv situation is less than ideal - no streaming and the guide doesn’t work so you have to scroll through the channels to find shows. The shower leaks continuously- which didn’t really bother us but probably costs a lot over time. We reported it and were told the shower head was changed but it wasn’t. These are all minor things but could make the stay even nicer for future renters.

Fun for all

This place was clean and a lot of fun but I would suggest staying before Labor Day because most of the amenities were closed for the season while there. It was close to my son who is in the marines ❤️
