'The room was damp and smelled bad when we had checked in. Had I not been exhausted from driving down country roads in a bad storm, I would have driven on. When I woke up, I was covered with bug bites. When I reported it to the front desk, they offered no help and said if I could stay until 3 pm ( it was 8 am), I could talk to the manager. If you’re running a motel and you have a possible bedbug infestation, it is an emergency, unless it is the norm. The manager can’t be disturbed??? So...

'The hotel was very clean and the lady that checked us in was very helpful with dinner recommendations. We had a king studio room with a sofa sleeper for our child and on first impression it was very clean and spacious. The main drawback for this hotel is that the thermostat in the room was locked to not allow the AC to go below 68 degrees. The unit actually cut off at 69 and then back on when it reached 70. We were hot all night long. We stay in hotels frequently and I know it is normal...

'I paid extra for a handicap room. There was no shower seat except for one that hung off the side of the tub and was about 2 in off the bottom of the tub. That's unacceptable for any handicapped person to try to get off that shower seat I had to go pay $40 to buy a real shower seat. The bed was slanted and sloped to the side so you can't even get a comfortable night's sleep me and my husband's back were both killing us.
