  • Pigeon Forge Two Bedroom Cabin, unit 131 “A Smoky Getaway” is a great escape to the Smoky Mountains for the family looking to get away for a memorable vacation. This beautiful two-bedroom two full bath cabin sleeps up to seven people and features a king size bed in each bedroom, Twin Size Bunk Bed in the loft, and sleeper sofa in the living room. There is also a fully equipped kitchen with coffee maker, dishwasher, and microwave, and a covered back deck with a gas grill. This cabin does include free wireless internet, a foosball table, hardwood throughout, hot tub, and a seasonal wood encased gas fireplace. It is located just a short drive from downtown Pigeon Forge and area attractions, outlet shopping, and fine dining, and less than 10 miles from Dollywood. Have all the convenience of home while vacationing in the Great Smoky Mountains at A Smoky Getaway. Dogs are welcome but must be under 35lbs and additional fees apply and must follow Fireside Chalets pet policies. Parking for up to 2 vehicles. No Smoking. Sleeps 5.

    Would you like to go fishing while you are in town or go swimming? A Smoky Getaway has access to Honeysuckle Meadows seasonal outdoor swimming pool, deli, and year-round outdoor fishing access. The pool is located about 5.1 miles from the pool. You do not have to have a fishing license to fish at this private catch and release fishing area. This Honeysuckle Meadows outdoor recreation area is just a short drive from A Smoky Getaway and features beautiful Wears Valley area Views of the surrounding Mountain Area.

There are multiple issues that I listed in the email to them yesterday evening. We did not use a hot tub as it was cold and we did not know how to warm the temperature. The staff was very friendly.

Nice Cabin; Needs Better Cleaning

The cabin is cute and well laid out for a small space. It could stand for a bit better cleaning. Had to call to get upstairs sheets changed as they were a bit dirty. Also the hot tub was dirty and we had to request a cleaning. Customer service was awesome and they got right to cleaning everything and it was perfect from there on out. Location is great. And it was fully stocked with everything we needed. Everything worked; no issues with appliances. All in all we would stay here again.

Nice location/Just okay

The cabin was cozy and clean. There were a few Cobb webs but we were able to deal with it. The only complaint is downstairs living room area and bedroom area was freezing. You can’t adjust the temperature much bc the upstairs is so hot. The loft area where the bunk beds are, it was so hot and our girls had to sleep downstairs on the couches because they were burning up. The mattress in the upstairs bedroom was terrible. Me and my husband’s back was hurting every night. We did not rest well at all. I think if these things were corrected it would be an amazing cabin. Check in was easy and smooth and it’s so easy to get to the main strip in Pigeon Forge.

Mediocre

There wasn’t anything wrong or bad about the property. Just a few things… this is probably the most expensive cabin I’ve stayed in (and I am VERY good at searching the BEST cabin for my price) and the cabin was mediocre at best. Everything worked but the king size bed upstairs dips in the middle, the furniture in The living room is worn, small things like shower liners need to be changed, Coffee pot could be updated, parking wasn’t the best for two vehicles, the washer didn’t seem to wash our clothes well, the water had an odor and the downstairs bathroom had an odor, cobwebs on the porches that simply should be tidied up before each visitor checks in.…. Again nothing detrimental but for the price per night, the cabin could be fancied up a bit. Or drop the price. I’ve stayed in much nicer for less- those were just booked before I booked my trip. We absolutely loved the scriptures hung up!

Unclean and smells

We were here for a formal event. As soon as we walked in we could smell remnants of a smoker and not the legal kind. Everything stunk. No real help from the management company. They knew about it because whoever cleaned had hung up a car air freshener from the ceiling fan. Cobwebs, dust, and just overall clutter. Filthy blinds. Dishwasher leaked and from the damaged flooring has been an ongoing issue. Mold in upper bedroom and bathroom. If you plan to sit on the commode, I hope you’re short. Unit is in desperate need of a deep clean, clean out and repairs. Will never stay here or at one of these managed properties.

Very cozy

It was a very nice cabin and in a great location not too far from the towns we wanted to visit but in a quiet laid-back location. I was disappointed that it did show a picture of a pool and pond on the pictures just to find out it was not even on the property that it was a public pool and 10 minutes away from the cabin. But overall we had a great vacation and would stay again.

Cute Cabin

Our cabin was cute and it was as per pictures. It had plenty of utensils and Extra towels and blankets. I was little apprehensive after reading some of the review on cleanliness but ours was pretty clean on the inside, the bedsheet and linen were spotless. The only complaint is I wish the outside deck was swept as well as it was covered in pollen and the carpets in the family room had pet hair. Apart from those two things, we had a great time.

Great location to Pigeon Forge

Really enjoyed our stay. Convenient location to the things we wanted to do. Friendly and helpful staff at Fireside Chalet….. my ONLY complaint was the mattress in the upstairs bedroom was awful…. If you roll to the middle, you may never be seen again…

Could have been amazing.......

It was very cute, but so dusty. Kept our allergies in fits. Decor had dust on it, behind bed where we plugged phone charger in was covered in dust. Ceiling, windows, etc.. The dryer made an awful racket and didn't work.. Called the office, they said they would get someone on it but, never got fixed. The hot tub didn't have alot of privacy. Bedding had stains on it. We had a good time but, if there were just a few minutes taken out to put tlc in the place, to be thoroughly cleaned and dusted (we paid for a cleaning and service fee!!!), and get dryer fixed??? It'd be a sweet little cabin. Front office was nice, so I will give them that. But overall, I wouldn't recommend this place to friends or family.

Nice Cabin

It was a nice cabin. It was pretty clean. Very limited when it comes to cookware, towels, and toilet paper. But I was told by cabin rentals to bring my own so was not a problem for us. It says it can sleep 7 but it really was pushing it with 4 adults and one child. It is very small, but overall a good cabin and was clean.

Great cabin , nice location, unfortunately very dirty and under stocked.

We aren’t usually complainers, we VRBO a lot and have never experienced a home /cabin as dirty as this was. It was a Great, cute and cozy cabin and in a Great location, but for the price we paid I shouldn’t of had to do all the dishes before using. The pans were coated in oil and caked on food, refrigerator was not clean, cob webs were thick not just a few that maybe you would expect, heavy dust caked on decorations and blinds and dirty laundry left behind both beds from previous renters. Bedsheets were stained. It does have a great front porch with a lovely porch swing to enjoy morning coffee. Silverware was child sized so when reserving this cabin make sure to bring utensils along with anything else you would use in a kitchen setting to clean up with ( wash cloths, garbage bags, soap and paper towels.) If they would get the cleanliness under control it makes an Amazing place to stay.

Cabin nice housekeeping bad

Back door lock didn’t work, cob webs everywhere, hot tub water smelly and dirty, coffee pot extremely dirty, found moldy bread in cabinet, nats/fruit flys bad, HVAC has a bad vibration sound could not sleep, parking area front tires parked in mud, very dark walking to front door needs a motion light, personally I would not recommend this cabin to anyone.
