This property has privacy. The cabin was clean and we had everything we needed. Hot tub was great. The posting needs to be more clear that the bedrooms are downstairs. Older people would not be able to go up and down the stairs.

Cute cabin

Very nice cabin. Good location very private. The hottub was amazing and clean. The jetted tub would have been nice but it doesn't work. The steps are a serious adjustment, anyone with a knee problem should reconsider before booking, there are very steep but the website does say that. I just didn't imagine it could be that steep. The view was great. They only left 1 garbage bag for a 4 day stay so be prepared to buy paper towels, garbage bags and toliet paper. I can see having to provided your own food and such but also provided paper products. Fire place was great but no wood was there. I did reach out ahead of time and ask if there would be wood there and was told yes but still a very nice cabin. Very nice time at Christmas.

Worst cabin I’ve ever stayed in

Very disappointed in my stay! This cabin was filthy and I was never comfortable being there! From the huge ants crawling all over the kitchen and dishes to the nasty floors and dungeon like damp basement. I have a lot of physical issues and couldn't get up and down to the bedroom well at all. Needs a deep clean, exterminated and stairs need fixed. At least give people a warning of their steepness! Not addressed at all on advertisement! I don't have enough money or vacation time to waste it on a rental like this!

- I've read some reviews about the property cleanliness and I thought that could be just a bad housekeeper's day but the property is really dusty and dirty. It's actually unfair being charged for a cleaning fee when you don't find the place clean and the next party probably won't find as well. - The wood stair into the bedrooms is extremely dangerous. - There's no shower on the bedrooms level. You have to go upstairs to shower. - The way to and from the cabin is above dangerous. Please avoid driving after 5PM. - The internet is below average and there's barely no signal of cellphone. Be prepared.

Nice for a short stay

The over-all experience was great, location is some what secluded. Quite little spot in the woods. Now. I gave it 4 stars. BUT! The cabin could use some updating, its obviously a very well used cabin, the parking isnt great, and there is a stair case inside that could be troublesome for some guest's as the bedrooms are on the lower floor. Me and my wife are in our late 20's and early 30's as it was not that big of a deal. The down stairs flooring is in bad shape as well as the "trim" around the bathtub down stairs( open holes, randomly placed flooring around tub) Outdoor flood lights would have been helpful. The jacuzzi tub located down stairs doesn't work. Even though we were not there for the wifi or tv. The wifi would not connect, even after following well laid out directions. The tv in the bedrooms have cable only. 5-8 channels. The upstairs area is perfect for what it is. It is very welcoming and peaceful. My wife and i enjoyed it, it is just my opinion that for the cost it needs some updates

Least favorite cabin I’ve stayed at

I’ve been coming up to the mountains for years & unfortunately this was one of my least favorite cabins I’ve stayed at. The only perk to this cabin in my opinion was that it was a street over from Dolly Parton’s childhood home (which we didn’t realize when we booked). All the beds were on the bottom level, but in order to get there you had to go down a spiral staircase. It was very unsafe, my boyfriend slipped down the stairs and my parents chose to sleep on an air mattress on the main level to avoid going up and down the stairs. The bedrooms down stairs were extremely dusty and not all of the lights worked. The flooring downstairs was coming up in places. We actually had to take paper towels and clean some of the wood beams because there was so much dust hanging. There were 2 bathrooms, but the one downstairs on the bedroom level didn’t have a shower (only upstairs did). The main level was nice and the kitchen was well stocked. The pull out sofa was so worn out that my parents weren’t able to even sleep on it if they wanted to. It was also very dirty when you pulled it out. In order to get to Dollywood you’re looking at a 30 minute drive, to get to the Parkway is even longer. The roads were very windy to get up to the cabin (which I knew was to be expected). For the price we paid, I didn’t think it was worth it.

Look somewhere else

Extremely dirty, poorly kept, terrible and dangerous driveway. It is not adequate for a full size vehicle, temperature of house is not consistent throughout. The downstairs bedrooms are freezing and upstairs hot. Master bedroom has king size bed with foam on top. Very uncomfortable. Unable to use fireplace due to no fat lighter. Fire wood but that’s it. Could not walk on floor with no shoes due to dirt (filthy). My husband walked across floor with white docks on just through living room and they were completely black. Broom was old and filthy as well. Completely useless to use. Iron did not work. Shower door had sign to squeegee after use. There was no squeegee. Emailed about a Plak that fell off wall while we were sitting watching tv. Still received no answer. Furniture is old and worn out and very uncomfortable. We put blankets over everything because I did not trust that they were not dirty as well. Evidently owners do not care since they are trying to sell this house for $300,000. We have stayed in many cabins over the years and this is without a doubt the worse. I would give them $300 to just tear it down.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental is about 20-30 minutes outside of the attractions. That wasn’t really an issue with us. Arriving at the property you can just tell this one isn’t taken the best care of. It’s keyless entry which is great...if it works. Ours locked us out and thankfully husband tried the lockbox and was able to get a key out. The inside was nice. The stairs to go to the basement were very steep and curved. If you have young kids or a baby..or older I would NOT recommend here. The outside decks seemed very old. Hole in floor of one deck. It made us a little nervous getting in the hot tub seeing all the rot and having a far drop. Really couldn’t be out there after dark because the bugs were insane! I tried calling the rental company three times on different days (all during business hours) and never got an answer. We even stopped in the one time and nobody was there. Was the trip horrible? No. But would I try it again? No. Also, all the other drives around there are pull through this one is extremely narrow with tall trees/bushes and u have to try and back in...made me a little nervous. Also, not their fault but if your staying with dogs, when your letting yours out be careful. We had four different dogs run up to ours while outside. I called the number on the first one thinking he just got loose but the owner laughed and said Cooper runs the mountain and is very friendly so no big deal. Always makes me nervous cause u never know how two dogs will react to each other.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were told to download a specific app, so that we could retrieve our code to check in, as well as the location and directions. We did that well in advance. However, 4:00p was supposed to be check in time, and there was no code shown on the app. So I called multiple times over the course of four hours, and no one ever answered. I left multiple voicemails and even called the after hours number, and no one ever answered. Finally, I sent an email as we were panicked at this point, and someone eventually emailed me the code to get in. Imagine, driving hours, standing at the door, trying to get in, with two toddlers and a dog and you cannot get a hold of anyone with this company. We almost left, and just went to a hotel. After check-in time, we finally got that email and there after, eventually someone called but obviously that was way too late. I wish we had just went to a hotel and demanded a refund at this point. But being later in the evening, my kids were exhausted, so we stayed. However, I would note that the pictures in their gallery are not a true representation of what is currently there. For instance, their pictures show a large area rug in the living area, there is none. With toddlers, that is sort of a big deal for play area. It also shows an additional couch in the living area, and it also is not there. It showed a dining table on the deck where the hot tub is, that also was not there. VERY misleading and again, not a true representation of what is actually there right now. Additionally, the lack of customer service, and leaving a family stranded with no code to get in, was just appalling. Of course, no one ever told me why it never showed up on the app that they encourage you to use.As far as the rest of the house, if you do have small children, this is probably not the place for you. None of the chairs they have there, have any backs on them. They are all tall barstools. Stairs are narrow and steep. We felt very ripped off, and I do not recommend.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in many cabins in the past few years, so this info comes from experience. First and foremost, it is not "actual" minutes from pigeon forge which was disappointing because we had a dog to check on. Also, the cabin needs some sprucing up, the driveway needs to be cleared out, the mold in washer was concerning, broken Christmas rug at front door (its July), internet service was slow. Definitely need to make sure future renters know about the staircase downstairs, very awkward. Customer service experience was disappointing, called about code, they sent it but no one called back, also power went out, called customer service, told after hours person would call,no one ever called back to check on us, finally figured out power company in area and called myself. For the price, I would have expected better service, etc.

They have signs throughout the cabin telling you about the many issues and how to deal with them instead of fixing them, such as the shower handle failing off anytime someone touches it. They also don’t specify that the only shower is upstairs. They charge you extra to just use the fireplace they don’t supply wood or anything. The cabin was also not clean whatsoever the beds had dog hair all over them, the shower walls had hair on them, tooth paste splatter on the bathroom mirrors, spiderwebs on the ceilings and the porches had just been let go it looked like no one had been there in years. The hot tub was clean but the jets are not strong. The stair case and the master bedroom bed are as bad as everyone has said in other reviews. Overall i don't think this cabin is worth what they charge for it and was very disappointed with our stay here. However, we didnt spend much time here and didn’t let it ruin our vacation and ended up having a really good time in Tennessee.

Great Anniversary Trip

We had a great time with our pups. Beautiful place and has everything we needed. The house and hot tub is so relaxing. We will definitely be returning.
