« Room was clean and comfortable, although there was nowhere to hang coats/clothes (there was no hanging rail). The pedestrian route to the restaurant was a bit dark in places. Generally a good overall stay. »

« Loud. Incredibly loud. First, they gave no indication that the room I was staying in opened directly onto the street. The door lock was strange, perhaps just something I'm not used to, but I struggled with ensuring that it was locked during the night. (I work in a technical field, I'm not dim, but jeez, I felt stupid) Considering people milling around outside the pub at night were quite drunk, shouty, and possessed of questionable decision making, I ended up putting a chair in front of the door...

« Pleasant stay …very good room…helpful staff……think could upgrade non cooked breakfast options a little …not too onerous to offer good bread, jams or yoghurt or fruit but evening meals good »

« First of all the staff was nice and helpful and that’s important, so no issue there. However, rooms without breakfast? Really? If you do accommodation do it thoroughly and do it right. This isn’t! £138 without breakfast for a mediocre room and no breakfast is a big NO for us. Way too expensive for what it is and sorry to say, no we won’t be back, and no I won’t recommend. You need to seriously up your game. »

« Nice and fresh room. Lovely staff. Extra milk/tea/coffee on corridor table and toothbrushes for those who require them. Dog bowls, treats and blankets if bringing your pooch. Food was lovely. »

« On a organisé un week-end à Holmfirth pour voir Leo Sayer au picturedrome »

« Great little place to stay, very welcoming and excellent bar staff. »

« Le restaurant est vraiment bien. Malheureusement pour avoir une bonne nuit (ce qui reste l'essentiel dans mon cas), c'est compliqué quand la chambre est au dessus des cuisines dans une vieille bâtisse... Bruiante jusqu'à plus de 23h puis ça repart avec réception marchandise à 6h. »

« The pub and restaurant are closed from Monday to Wednesday, but, the rooms are available, but, the breakfast is available, if you are staying there. The Inn is surrounded by beautiful scenery, and ample parking. The transport links are excellent to Huddersfield and surrounding areas. Julie, the host, is very nice and knowledgable about the area, who also cooks a very good breakfast. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, very spacious bathroom with a lovely selection of toiletries. ...
