'Good location for travelling, even close enough to drive downtown Staunton. Hotel grounds very neat and good parking, first impression inside very clean and open and very friendly staff. Room was spacious and quite clean, bathroom needs some professional plumber do the caulking and removal of mold, though generally clean. Breakfast was quite varied, with as well choices for a healthy breakfast, though also very sugar loaded choices. Service at breakfast was perfect, the ladies kept all super...

'Upon arrival, we noted that the parking lot was empty. We walked into the office and it had a stale, sour smell. Being cautious, we asked to view the room before checking in. The clerk handed us a key card. We went to the room and tried to open the door. No luck. We peered through the window. The room looked dingy and dirty. The bed was poorly made. We returned the card to the clerk. Did not check in, drove another hour to the next town. I will never stay at this motel.'

'Nice staff, good breakfast, nice pool, rooms are a little less than average. Though the room was generally clean, the bathroom tub had some pink mold, the shower curtain smelled, and the doors and sinks were worn out. The front door seemed to have forced entry damage.'

'Overzichtelijk terrein, goed onderhouden hotel. Komt schoon over. Veel geluid vanaf nabijgelegen snelweg, daarom gevraagd om een kamer aan de andere kant (en ook gekregen). Ontbijt is in orde; vriendelijke en attente dame die dat verzorgt.'

'The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful in accommodating us to have atleast one of our rooms ready for early check in as we had a wedding to prepare for. The rooms smelt like either BO or dirty mop water. They were clean but the smell was bad. We had to spray Lysol and air freshener to help. It seemed to be coming from the vents or the floors.'

'I never write reviews but I have to write one for this hotel. It was immaculately clean, staff was wonderful, and it’s in such a perfect area. I don’t know how else to explain it except that it had GREAT energy!'

'It was nice. The place was secluded, which could make you feel safe, but also maybe not. The bed was very comfortable, and I felt fine there. However, I would probably stay at a different place next time. Just because of my overall preferences.'

'Our room and my daughter’s room was filthy. There was a dead bug inside a pillowcase: a bug smashed on the wall with a streak of bug guts; peanuts under the desk area; yellow stains on the sheets; a lot of dead bugs under the curtains; and what appeared to be a mouse hole in the wall. We left and found a clean room at the Holiday Inn Express. We have pictures and requested a refund.'
