'Recently renovated, clean, fresh, modern and extremely welcoming, The Pathmaker Hotel is the best place to experience Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. We enjoyed our stay so much. 'This was a disaster! We booked this room as part of our honeymoon and we ended up getting sick from it and having to cut our stay short. The room was awkward and strange but that’s manageable. What we couldn’t stand was the intense smell of bleach that make us cough and burned our eyes and sinuses. I don’t know what they were trying to cover up but it made us sick. 'Beautifully remodeled boarding house in the perfect downtown location. Great parking, attentive staff, clean, quiet, and quite possibly the best bed and pillows ever. Continental breakfast was enough for us to grab and go. Will stay again!'
