Studio on Liberty Street Across from the Cathedral by Lucky Savannah

Ideally located on Liberty Street, Robin’s Nest is within walking distance to everything Savannah has to offer. This fourth floor walk-up is worth the effort, as it affords excellent views of neighboring rooftops and a glimpse of the historic St. John's Cathedral.

The high, slanted ceilings and lots of natural light make Robin’s Nest airy and inviting. The full kitchen has enough room to cook a meal for two or reheat some leftovers from one of Savannah’s many exquisite restaurants. The stacked washer and dryer makes longer stays convenient, and the large screen TV and comfortable Queen sized bed means you’ll never have to worry about rainy days. This apartment also has a huge walk-in closet, and a full bath with standing shower.

You’ll be staying right next to J. Christopher’s, one of our favorite brunch spots! You’ll be able to see the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, which underwent a major restoration to preserve their beautiful stained glass windows and architectural integrity, as soon as you step outside. Spend an afternoon wandering through Colonial Park Cemetery, the final resting place of many of Savannah’s earliest residents.

Beautiful and convenient

The apartment was in a perfect location! Not too busy but not too quiet. Right in the middle of Savannah historic district. Our only bit of feedback would be to include parking instructions, options, and prices in the instructions they send prior to your stay. We had to call when we got there to figure that out. We are from a small town, so public and street parking is foreign to us. The staff (I think his name was Joseph) was very helpful when we called though!! It was a great trip!

I arrived without anyone telling me the unit number I was staying in! I had to make numerous calls to find out where I was staying/ unit number. Nobody told me it was a walk-up with no elevator! I had to walk up 3 sets o stairs each time. The shower curtain had mold on it! I had to remove it and place it outside the unit, then called the management to bring a replacement I had to hang up. It so happened that hurricane Helene happened those days; some water came through the side window - I informed management.

Perfect short stay

Great location in the heart of the historic district surrounded by tons of bars and restaurants. Street parking was very convenient and we loved walking the city.

The place was nice. A few updates would go a long way; especially in the bathroom. There was a large cockroach in the bed the first night, but it didn't appear to be there due to any uncleanliness. Just a heads up for something to keep an eye on. The mattress could use replacing, soon. It's quite lumpy.

Spring break in Savannah

The location of the property is excellent. It was helpful that the owners are in the office next door if you need anything. FYI: this property is on the fourth floor so you get some exercise climbing the stairs;) It was quiet and we didn’t hear any other guests in our studio. It has a nice size closet for your clothes, but it has a low ceiling so be careful if your’re tall. The floors were beautiful and original, but needed to be cleaned better. The bed is a king. I like a firm bed and this was soft. So you’re in luck if you like a soft bed. The beams on the ceiling added charm to the space. There is a hole by one of the beams that needs to be patched. The bathroom is a one person area. The studio would benefit from a coat of paint to freshen it up.

Sweet Space

My friend and I really enjoyed this little apartment! The only problem we had is that the right side of the bed is broken and droops pretty bad but we made it work. Other than that, we would highly recommend staying here! Thank you for everything!

Where do you want to go? 300 or 1000 feet?

It was the most central place to live. We kept finding ourselves a block or two from 'home' all the time... would totally recommend this spot. The last flight of stairs is a doozy... three flights was ok, but the fourth caught us out of breath every time. That's ok though, the location was worth it... plus, we chose only to come back to the rental when we really needed/wanted to- kept us out and about more!

Lovely Stay with a Few Rough Spots

The room was lovely, a sweet little view of the city from the bedroom window. Comfy and soft bed. The only rough patches: No curtains, so you better be a morning person! There was a strange red drip (looked like mud almost?) from the ceiling that we noticed the last day of our stay. Walls were very thin. We definitely didn't love waking up to puppies barking early each morning. The medicine cabinet in the bathroom was kind of scary looking (super dirty and rusted) and there was no counter space, so we had to keep our toiletries in our suitcase all weekend. As a heads up: if you're looking for a later check out, they'll make you pay extra money. Overall a good stay, just a few oddities that shouldn't deter a person unless you're really particular.

Cozy apartment in great location!

The property was immaculate and had all essential appliances. The location is excellent and in a historic building. The only drawback is that it is on the 4th floor and has no elevator. But I would highly recommend it!

Very cute unit - great location

Very cute unit. The location is great, close to restaurants and bars and close the the main areas. Everything is walking distance. Easy to find parking and it’s on a pretty quiet street, with not too much traffic therefore pretty quite at night.

Not a bad experience... but the carpet in the common hallways and stairs was filthy....dead insects, French fries,,,, Just a general note to the owner,,, the shower curtain does not fit, so it kept falling off of the restraints, their is a thick layer of dirt on the window ledge in the bedroom, and the window lock in the bedroom is broken, so the window would actually roll down....we didn't notice it until we could hear the birds and church bells very clearly! (The AC will run overtime through the Summer of you don't fix that one). Other than that, it was perfectly fine.

Disappointed

We got there and the location was perfect, however, the light was completely broken in the bathroom so we couldn’t see to shower and use it (not very romantic to use the facilities with the door wide open for light) this was brought up to management and was never fixed. A maintenance person came by and told us it wouldn’t be fixed by the time we leave. The TV also was not connected to the internet so we couldn’t use that either. I asked to have it fixed and never heard from someone. I told Lucky Savannah I was disappointed and unhappy with the facilities and would like at least a small refund since the bathroom was virtually unusable. I was told I’d be in contact with someone and unfortunately that has yet to happen.
