The property was advertised as a “new remodel,” but that was far from the reality. There wasn’t even a fresh coat of paint, and there was a large water stain on the ceiling from an obvious water leak. We even noticed what appeared to be blood on one of the walls.Cleanliness was a major issue — the handrail was filthy, there were crumbs in the beds, and one bed had what appeared to be smeared snot or feces on it. We also found used tissues left in the bathroom cabinets. It was clear the home hadn’t been properly cleaned or inspected before our arrival.To make matters worse, after a late flight we were locked out and had to sit outside until after midnight before finally getting in.To their credit, management did refund us so we could find another place to stay, which we appreciated. The location itself was perfect, but the property’s cleanliness and upkeep need significant improvement before being advertised as a “new remodel.”
