'Entering the hotel was not very inviting. Staff did not seem to speak very good English and we could not really understand them. The bar was beautiful, but once again not very inviting. We did not feel welcome. The room was "okay". There was an opened coffee pod that we did not open. Who ever installed the fireplace was not very good. The breakfast was all over the place. Some was in the bar area and some was in another room. I do not know how they got the rating they have, but for the money...

'Hotel was conveniently located within walking distance to local restaurants and bars. Our room was "City view" and it was a bit loud but they give ear plugs. I would recommend a portable fan or white noise to help. It didn't effect our sleep. My husband and I stayed 2 nights and went hiking. Ricketts Glen State Park and Falls were 1 hour 20 minutes away and well worth the travel there and back for a great day trip. The falls were amazing! Also, hiked Bushkill Falls which was 20 minutes...

'Schoon maar basic. Auto kun je gratis voor de deur parkeren, ontbijt is minimaal ook al hou je dan al rekening met de basic Amerikaanse ontbijten vergeleken met Europa. Gehorig, matig wifi en dat is lastig als je voor zaken van dit hotel gebruik maakt. Vriendelijke receptie.'

'This was, I think, the creepiest place I've ever stayed. I do have to mention that the woman at the front desk was absolutely lovely--but she was the only good part of my stay. There were a couple of the tiny roaches in my shower both times I showered (I had to stay two nights). My door looked like it had been mangled in a knife fight. The hallway looked, no joke, very much like the hallway in The Shining. I felt safe enough, like physically, once I had locked the doors-- but it felt very dirty...

'I would never tell anyone to stay at this old, run down place. No amenities in the room, room very small & old. Steps to building very dangerous. Room had a full bed, small round table, a chair & an old TV. Very old A/C unit. Bathroom so small you could hurt yourself in it. Din't even supply wash cloths. I woould rate it a 0 on a scale of 1 to 10. They should pay people to stay there, not the other way around. You are making a big mistake having them on your list of places to stay'
