'The hosts are extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. Bill extensively explained to me what to see in Stratford, while I enjoyed some excellent home made fruitcake. The room is equipped with kettle, lots of tea bags, instant coffee, instant hot chocolate, and biscuits. Breakfast is fabulous with prizewinning home made jams. All together amazing value for £55 single occupancy. Only downside is the slightly long walk to the town centre.'

'On arriving the property was very difficult to find and when l did find it my room was occupied by someone else. I was given the room next-door which was dark and unwelcoming. Neither the room or the surroundings were as advertised, photos were totally misleading. I was absolutely discussed by the level of cleanliness and left immediately finding myself having to find somewhere else to stay at 8.30 in the evening and £364 out of pocket. Will not be using Expedia ever again!!'

'Make sure that your booking hasn't been cancelled by a disgruntled staff member before you arrive. The room was nice and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was ok, it was greasy and I didn't dare try the egg because it looked only just cooked yet the yolk was hard. The other items were nice.'
