'Upon entering the room, I immediately noticed there was no proper secondary lock or security mechanism on the door beyond the standard knob lock, which made me uncomfortable traveling alone. In addition, there were visible blood stains on the bedding upon arrival. Guests should also be aware that the property is entirely walk-up, so it may not be ideal for anyone with mobility concerns or difficulty with stairs. 'We loved our stay at The Palms! Everything was perfect from day 1, the rooms were spotless and the staff was so attentive. The hotel is beautiful and the restaurants on site are great. I would definitely come back and book again! My only suggestion would be that the beach attendants be a bit more proactive. In the 5 days we were there, they never set up our beach chairs/opened umbrellas. Not a big deal for us but it was something we noticed. All in all, lovely place and can’t wait to be back!'

This is a cannot miss pick for a superb vacation.'
