We had a fantastic five night stay with four adults at the Retreat in Rogers Arkansas. The house is absolutely beautiful, the view is breathtaking, and all of the accommodations and amenities included were wonderful to have. We spent many nights in the hot tub overlooking the lake and it was so relaxing. And we also got some great exercising walking down to the lake front and back up ...136 wooden steps each way so it's a good workout !We had a few small issues with the house while we were there but every request was immediately acknowledged and taken care of, so no complaints at all. There was a TV in every room hooked up with Roku and that was very nice, the beds slept very comfortably, and you rarely find two rooms with king size beds and both rooms had access to the deck. Spent some relaxing mornings on the deck also. You'll find pretty much everything you need for cooking in the beautiful kitchen and it's also nice having an open floor plan so the cooks can always be part of the conversation and tv. Will definitely keep this in mind for future stays. And the people you communicate with are very kind, accommodating, and are on your needs very quickly. One of our best stays ever!! Highly recommend.A shout out to Tanner and John for being prompt and thorough with our maintenance needs while we were there.
Steps lead all the way down to the lakefront.
Can't ask for a more beautiful view of Beaver lake.
Didn't even realize they had a hammock, but sure did enjoy it.

Our stay was incredible. The view that you have especially in early Nov is breathtaking with all fall colors. The house was beautiful, very clean and comfortable. It is truly a very relaxing place that allows you to enjoy nature at its best. Also the fishing was great on kayak cove which was a great unexpected bonus.

A relaxing and perfect vacation away!

Quiet and felt remote and far from the world. Stay began on Mon and ended on Fri. Once we had arrived, we did not leave the property till time to return home. Packed in all the food required and had access to all the tools for cooking our meals. A perfect place to be lost for a time!!!

Best views and sleep

We booked here because it looked like the escape we needed and it was. Secluded, comfy, and killer views. The only down side was the smell of the shower water. It smelled like egg but a quick google search reassured us that despite the stink it was common and safe. The beds were the best. Made us sad to come back to our own. Running out for food was no quick trip but we wanted a space away so we knew what we signed up for. Overall great stay!

Lovely lake house

The house was perfect and the two trails going down to the lake were well worth the effort. The property management company wasn't the most responsive, but they did they eventually resolve a check-in issue.

A wonderful stay

We loved our stay here - home had beautiful views and space indoors and outdoors for adults and kids alike. Kayaks on property with short hikes was an awesome addition that we all enjoyed. Home was also conveniently located to trailheads (~15/20 min. for our picks), and beds were comfy.

Camp Bachelorette

This house is absolutely amazing. We rented it for my bachelorette weekend, and it provided the perfect place for all my best friends to come together and hang out. The house truly is stocked with all the kitchen essentials. They have pretty much any appliance you can think of including a kitchen aid mixer, regular coffee maker, Nespresso, blender and more. Unfortunately it was a rainy weekend but the large windows in the living room allowed us to enjoy the stunning view of the view of the lake and changing leaves while staying dry. We would all definitely stay here again!

Nice house with beautiful view, but with issues

Our grown up family of 5 (two 70-somethings and three 50-somethings) rented this home for several days. And while initially we enjoyed the house - the view is absolutely stunning, the deck is great; loved the view of the setting sun; and the house, for the most part, is lovely; several things caught our attention that we feel compelled to note. Things we noticed or had trouble with: • There are no hand rails/grab bars in either shower/tub to aid in getting and out, which is unsafe, as we discovered. This is very important for future guests to take note of and we hope this issue is addressed as soon as possible. • The house entry code was not correct and we had to text them to get the correct one before entering. • The wifi code listed in the welcome email from VRBO was not correct and again we had to text to get the correct code. • The water smells strongly of sulfur in all bathrooms, the kitchen, and the laundry room. • Both routes down to the water are very, very steep. We hope this review helps future guests and we hope this house fixes its issues because it is a really pretty place.
