'The hotel location is fine, but anywhere in Christchurch city will be close to everything there. I stayed in a 'club room' which was very ordinary and in need of some improvement. Worst of all was the club lounge - terrible location and atmosphere, and a complete waste of money unless you're there only for the free evening drinks. The evening canapes were so ordinary and almost exactly the same every evening. The club floor breakfast was ridiculous - cereal, dried fruit, salami, cold ham and...

'This was a great location and fairly priced. The hosts go out of their way to provide extras like each towels. Public transportation to downtown Christchurch and airport is about 1 block away and runs every 15 minutes until late. There are lots of restaurants nearby along with grocery, pharmacy, and coffee shops. '

'Food and cafe/wine bar within the complex. No breakfast or bar in the actual hotel itself. However, the surroundings are BEAUTIFUL! Well worth a walk around. Excellent accommodation. Highly recommend. Check in advance to see when the observatory tower is open.'
