This was a great property with a fantastic location. As a family of four, it was the perfect space for us, with everything we needed. Communication was great, and the host was incredibly responsive. Our only issue was not having extra linens, such as towels and pillowcases, for the extra pillows. Although a storage closet is available for access, it was not stocked. We would definitely stay again!

Weekend in Iceland

The apartment was perfect for our family due to its size and location. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, spacious full kitchen and TV/living area meant we had plenty of space. Plus it was very clean and nicely decorated. We found the street parking to be very easy and convenient to the entrance. Having a washer and dryer inside the condo was also very helpful. Other pluses—building was very quiet and there was a playground right next to it for smaller kids.

Perfect location for family trip!

My family of 4 stayed at the Sif Apartments for 5 nights. Kids are 15 and 13, the apt was perfect size! Spacious and elegant. A couple small issues were quickly fixed. Location is a quick walk, 5-10 mins, super easy! I would definitely stay again.

Perfectly Situated

The spacious apartment accommodated my husband and friends perfectly. Catching buses for excursions was super easy, as was walking to the shopping areas and restaurants in downtown Reykjavik. Sitting on the balcony after a long day sightseeing and shopping was a lovely way to end our days.

Great place to stay.

Excellent stay at this property. We stayed in Building #11 on the 7th floor. Apartment is exactly as the picture shows. Modern, clean, plenty of room and well appointed. Management team is very good, responds quickly to any and all requests/questions. Great location to get to the highway/out of the the city by car. Plenty of restaurants, shops, markets in the neighborhood. You can also walk to downtown/harbor area in about 20 minutes. We were always able to park on the street, right by the apartment. Would stay here again!

Great apartment, responsive team!

Check in information and additional information was very helpful! We had some issues with the door code to get in but the team was responsive and eventually got the code figured out. We’re two families with 6-7 year old kids and was able to spread out comfortably. There were sufficient amenities to do some light cooking - we brought instant noodles and the 10-11 convenience store was very close by to get anything extra. We were also able to run several loads of laundry with readily available detergent after spending several days traveling around Iceland - great for washing kids clothing! The area where the apartment is located is within walking distance to food and shopping, which is great. It took us a bit to figure out the parking situation (street parking requires an app with a local phone number linked) and at the time that we visited, it was significantly cheaper than the parking garage, which did not require an app. Checking out was straightforward, and I received emails with links to instructions to check out. We had a couple of hiccups with some of the amenities in the apartment, nothing too big but we hope will get fixed for the next occupant - I sent an email to the team as we were leaving to alert them on it. Any questions I had was answered very quickly both via email and phone which is wonderful! Overall great experience and will definitely love to stay here again the next time we’re back!

Great convenient location

The property manager was really helpful and allowed us to check in early and check out late, which with having a toddler, was greatly appreciated. The apartment was clean and had great accommodations. The only thing that would've improved it is of there were more seating in the living room. But we made it work and it was great.

Very Nice Apartment

This apartment was perfect for our party of 6. It had a lot of room and was very clean. The location was great as it was walking distance from the restaurants and a short drive to the boat tours. This particular apartment was in building 11 and was much nicer than the one we stayed at previously which was in building 9. Getting into the building and using the right codes was a little confusing but other than that, it was a great stay.

Clean, no extras

The property was east to find. Walking distance from all of the action but in a quiet neighborhood. The building itself is nice, as is the apartment. We did have an incorrect door code on arrival, but we called the phone number provided to us, and they answered right away and gave us a good code. The apartment is very modern and clean, but there are absolutely no extras. Many VRBOs include cooking oil, spices, etc. None of that here. In addition, the TV remote did not work. We called the afternoon of our first day to report this and were told it would be remedied, but it never was. No TV for our 3 day stay. The neighborhood was OK, but my kids did notice a big pile of hypodermic needles in the alleyway across from the building. The apartment itself was very nice, but everything else was just OK.
