Lodges in Lindisfarne National Nature Reserve

'This is an institution but honestly I'd rather have a drink here and sleep elsewhere. The staff were very kind and helpful. It was mainly that because of the awesome pub it is noisy until pretty late. More from people on the street going in an out than the pub itself. It was pretty warm so I needed to leave the window open for some air. It is in the middle of town and safe and clean though, only the partiers were a problem but I was there on a Friday night.'

'This was our first visit to see what it was like to give us future options and to compare it with Doxford Hall where we usually stay for short breaks. We are sorry to give only 4 stars for this particular stay, the property and room quality were both excellent as were the staff we interacted with but the stay was let down by a problem with shortage of kitchen staff due to illness. 'Self access = soulless. Didn't see another person. Empty tables in the dining room felt like the Marie Celeste. Breakfast in a bakery and fridge in the room. Very expensive for what it was. Very dim lighting.'

'Locatie is erg mooi, kamers met uitzicht op de haven. Personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Interieur is oud en muffig, gehorig en benauwend, erg veel trappen en smalle gangetjes. Alle luchtjes uit de keuken blijven in de gangen hangen.'

'Lovely friendly staff from the moment we walked in. The Hall is beautiful with gorgeous gardens to enjoy. The spa is delightful. The food was also excellent. It was a wonderful relaxing experience.'

'vlakbij treinstation, ideaal wanneer je met het openbaar vervoer reist. hotel heeft een nieuwe eigenaar en alles is opnieuw geverfd en het interieur van het hotel en de slaapkamers is allemaal vernieuwd. ziet er goed uit. het ontbijt "continental"mag uitgebreider zijn o.a met kaas, vleeswaren en een gekookt ei. verder zou ik de menukaart ook uitbreiden met meer europese gerechten. '

'Had a fantastic one night stay here. Everything was clean, and easy to find & use. There was some minor confusion regarding the listed check-in time, but this was very easily resolved by the proactive communication from the hosts. Would definitely stay again, and for longer!'
