'This deserves much more than an 8.4 rating. We had one of the best ski stays ever at the Arai and we’ve stayed at Chamonix, Aspen, Jackson Hole, and Big Sky. The hospitality and food was amazing with some of the best service possible. The price was so much more reasonable than any other US destination. Thank you Lotte Arai.'

'This location was ideal for us because of its remote location. We had no difficulty with accessibility to it, because the hotel offered complimentary shuttle service to and from the local train station if you pre-arranged it in advance. Food was locally sourced and exceptional in quality. The outdoor baths were relaxing as they were set among the forest. Loved the friendliness of the staff. We had no problem communicating in Japanese but did find some of the Indian staff speaking English with us...

'What a fantastic place to stay. Convenient location from the train station And easy acces to snowmonkey parc. The food was amazing And the service level as well. They have an amazing bar on the roof. You sit with -15 in heated plastic iglo tents zipping from your drinks. The onsen Spa is big on the upperfloor overlooking Yudanaka And the mountains. The Room is huge. So wonderful stay And highly recommended.'
