Great place local to me car parking on site and tea room. Great stop on the way up to Hadrians Wall #instone #hiking
take in the atmosphere and check out the well preserved cloisters. Edward the l stayed here before his death. Robert the Bruce attacked it and it suffered many such battles. Check out beautiful architecture.

Like: the vibe of the hotel. Everywhere you look, there are references to the weather. This made me smile. Room was clean. Beds were nice. Breakfast was simple but did the job. You could order pancakes if you asked staff for this <3. Cons: our room did not have a view (we were looking at another building in a back-alley). There was a lot of noise from the public transport so sleeping with an open window, wasn't an option. When you closed the window and used the climate control, this was fine though.
