'We stayed for a quick night stop half way through France. We picked this place because looked interesting and glad we did. Place was amazing. It was different than boring hotel rooms. It was very comfortable, very clean and cosy. The person (I believe he was the owner) was very kind and friendly. We had a amazing comfortable evening and continued our journey next morning but we would definitely stayed for more. It's unique place. Very quiet and tranquil. Definitely recommend here'

'Having just spent two nights at this wonderful hotel I can easily understand why just about every review here is 10 out o10. This is a fantastic almost perfect hotel. The owners, a sweet young married couple, are clearly utterly devoted to this hotel and every touch has their signature. The stay was perfect, the room wonderful, cozy and comfortable and they cannot do enough for you. 11 out of 10!'

'Stunning ancient stone manor in the angevin countryside, beautifully restored. Our bedroom (Le Roi) - one of four - was huge, and the attention to detail and comfort was outstanding. Hosts Mel and Hywel are charming and efficient. Dinner (three courses including wine, no choice but not intimidating) was delicious; breakfast was exemplary. We will happily go back.'

'The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had a wonderful view of the river. Breakfast was not free, but was reasonably priced and the variety of food was good. There was plenty of free parking across the street by the river. We enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to stay there again. '

'De foto’s zijn mooier als de werkelijkheid Wij hadden superior kamers geboekt, leek niet op de foto’s, waren ze het wel vragen we ons achteraf af Restaurant was redelijk goed, bediening amateuristisch. Het ontbijt was niet bijzonder, niet geheel schoon servies. Totaalindruk: tegengevallen'

'Goed hotel met ligging aan de loire. Aan de overkant zie je het kasteel. Rustige buurt maar na 10 minuten stappen en de brug over te steken kom je in de restaurant buurt terecht.'
