Herbergen in Plymouth

'Prima herberg en pub met een redelijke keuken. Het leek op de website wel idyllischer dan in werkelijkheid. De Inn ligt aan aan doorgaande weg en je kunt er niet te voet bij vandaan. Dus vanuit de Inn een stukje wandelen was niet mogelijk. Wat echter belangrijk voor ons was was dat er in de Inn geen enkele kamer was waar een bed beschikbaar was dat langer was dan 1,90m. Ik ben bijna 2 m lang en ben dus te lang voor deze bedden. De breedte van slechts 1,40m is voor jonge, niet al te grote mensen...

'An excellent two night stay at a location we hadn't visited for some years. Our dog-friendly room was really clean . Evening meals were good. Breakfast was not included though we think it is provided at other times of the year. There was however a very good cafe and shop next door that served breakfast, coffee and snacks. We will be back to both establishments in the next few months'

'The room was great, the staff very friendly but what was outstanding was the food, what a surprise it was, pub food is normally quite boring in my opinion but this was anything but. Pork belly mash and the most delicious red cabbage I've ever had and I've travelled a lot and eaten a lot in my travels, this was up there with the best. '

'Hope Cove is a lovely place to stay. Food at the Hope and Anchor was five star. Staff were friendly. We did feel however that certain parts needed more attention. There was thick dust under the dresser in restaurant area. There is a paying car park next door which was £12 for 24 hours.'

'I didn’t want to write a negative review however as there was zero response to my messages, despite leaving it over 10 days I feel that I must. The pub itself is lovely, good food & comfortable clean rooms. However the lack of customer care lets it down. First as a previous customer mentioned is the welcome. We arrived early as you can’t tell how long a journey will take and we were told that we couldn’t check in until 4pm. We decided to have lunch then went for a walk, arriving back at 3.30pm,...

'Cawsand a lovely village and pub had a great atmosphere and nice beer garden. Food good and room clean & tidy, excellent shower.'

'Nice place in quiet surroundings. Rooms are comfortable, dinner was really tasty and breakfast was very nice as well. Only down side was that they finish up at 10 pm and we had guests joining us for dinner, so we felt a bit rushed in the end because we weren't informed in advance. Hope to be back with good weather, must be a treat!'
